The perfect beachfront home for family vacations and reunions, directly on Lake Michigan! There's more than first meets the eye, like the 6 person hot tub in an enclosed gazebo with mini-fridge, stereo and lake view. This 3-story 3,900 s.f. home is actually a multi-generational design affording total privacy for everyone with 6 bedrooms and 5 full baths, 2 jacuzzi tubs plus 3 kitchens, 3 living and dining areas...even 3 washers and 3 dryers. It's like getting 3 condos but with total privacy for your entire family. The Lake Michigan Sunset House sleeps up to a total of 20 people - 16 in the house in beds, 2 on an air bed, plus 2 in the adorable little log cabin right on the edge of the beach. All 3 levels overlook an incredible sweep of beach that is ideal for walking, sunbathing, swimming, or whatever your heart desires. There's no bluff to tackle - just walk right out to the beach and the water. It's ideal for kids! Take advantage of the canoe and kayaks on the calmer days. We provide life jackets in many sizes, plus sand toys for the little ones. Chaise lounge chairs and upright chairs are also provided. We even have board games and 3 video libraries for those rainy days. Play while watching the storms over Lake Michigan!
Located just minutes north of historic downtown Manistee, Michigan and just minutes south of beautiful Onekama, Michigan - a Two Lake Town - where you will find fabulous dining and recreation. Our info books tell of many activities and restaurants.

Rates are for up to 20 people. 10% discount for stays over 10 days and for repeat guests. 3 night minimum for September, October, April and May. 3 night minimum November thru March.

July 19-26, 2008 Wonderful vacation here at the Sunset Penthouse! We've enjoyed so much at this spot - beautiful views of Lake Michigan in day and evening - gorgeous sunsets, fresh air, walks along the shore, and swimming in Lake Michigan. (Friday) This morning while relaxing with my morning coffee, looking out the large windows here, a bald eagle flew by close enough for me to see his eyes - WOW! Even though we took some great motorcycle rides from here this las week (on my busband's Ducati) and a few short excursions out and about, it was so relaxing and comfortable here ini this Penthouse we really enjoyed all of the time on our vacation! Your place is so clean and so nice! We appreciate it very much and we hope to come back again! Thanks! |
