The gated ranch is in a natural desert area with many large palm trees, and large manicured grass areas creating a unique tropical desert environment. There are two Cable Wake runs and a waterski/wakeboard lake on the property. The ranch has plenty of parking for cars and guest RVs or horse trailers.
The Sunset Ranch Oasis is located near La Qunta, California with easy access to many desert attractions including the HITS Horse Show, the Desert Resorts Regional Airport, top quality golf courses, the Indian casinos and the shopping and fine dining of the desert cities.

Rentals With the Water Ski Lake give you exclusive use of the Lake during your stay. Bring up to two water craft (ski boats, wake boats, jet skis), but only one watercraft can operate on the lake at a time.
If you rent without the waterski lake, you can still take advantage of water sports with Desert Wake Group's activities on the Sunset Ranch:
**They have two cable wake runs at hourly rates (bring your own equipment or equipment rentals available) - really fun and easy to learn.
For all skill levels, including obstacles and jumps for the more advanced.
**If you don't bring a boat - don't worry!! Desert Wake also has a Centurion Ski Boat and Centurion Wake Boat for hourly rates with driver and rental equipment!

The Sunset Ranch Oasis provides guests with 163 acres for privacy and recreation. The house sleeps 15-20+, with a king size bed, two double beds, two sofa beds, two futon couch/beds, two rollaways and 10 single beds. There are four sleeping areas. Each sleeping area has its own bathroom and shower. A Master Suite includes a conference table, wireless internet, large couch area and a big screen Direct TV.
The main floor living room has a great fireplace, game table and flat screen TV with "Direct TV", stereo with outdoor speakers to swimming pool and barbecue. The kitchen has been remodled with granite counters and is fully equipped with dishes, eating and cooking utensils, range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. An adjoining 'rec' room has a regulation pool table, stereo and TV.
Heated Pool: The rental rates include a heated pool from November 1st thru April 30th
Property Activities
Great recreation on the property:
Cable Wake runs available on one of our lakes and the other lake is still available for rental with the house. If you don't want to bring your own boat, two Centurion boats are available with driver and all equipment at hourly rates. In addition there is a swimming pool, 2 private artesian fresh water lakes for swimming, fishing from dock or the rowboat, half-court basketball and a firepit on the edge of the lake. A putting green and sand trap are located near the pool area.
“The Painted Canyon" and other terrific hiking areas are close by. Golf courses nearby include Landmark Golf Course, PGA West and the Quarry golf course. Likewise, the HITS Horse Show grounds, Fantasy Springs Casino, Spotlight 29 Casino, and the Jackie Cochran Regional Airport are within 15-20 minutes of the Ranch.
