Property Information
A riverside retreat located on the banks of the Rio Grande River in the Hot Springs District, Downtown Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. This 2 bedroom home is tastefully furnished with saltillo tiles, oriental rugs, antiques and local artwork. Centrally located in T or C (as the locals call it) and walking distance from art galleries, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, banks, bookstores and much more.
The private hot springs are literally perched on the banks of the Rio Grande River. They are surrounded with beautiful landscaping and the best view in town of the Turtleback Mountain.
Previously named Hot Springs, New Mexico, and Known for it's healing geo-thermal flowing waters, the city decided to change it's name to Truth or Consequences after the Ralph Edwards game show of the same name.
The Rio Grande River flows through downtown Truth or Consequences and right in the backyard of Casa Del Rio. With a cove carved out down on the banks that is perfect for trout fishing, swimming, having a picnic, or floating down the river on a tube.

Truth or Consequences, NM is Located 2 hours south of Albuquerque and 2 hours north of El Paso, Texas off Interstate 25. The states largest lake, Elephant Butte is a ten minute drive with fishing, Boat rentals, and miles of sandy beaches. The Gila National Forest is a quick 45 minute drive, with an elevation of 6000-7000 feet, you can surround yourself in pine filled forests, perfect for hiking and camping.
