Ski-in ski-out home located directly on Schuss Mountain within minutes of Shanty Creek’s world class Legend golf course and the Cedar River’s Tom Weiskopf designed course.
This beautiful Home sleeps up to 18. Enjoy the vista views from the large wrap around wood deck overlooking the Sally's Ally ski run or soak in the outdoor six-person hot tub.
This custom home is a luxurious yet rustic, knotty-pine Home located directly on Schuss Mountain. Only minutes from Shanty Creek’s Arnold Palmer designed Legend Golf Course this is the perfect golf or ski retreat.
The upper level of the home sleeps seven in two bedrooms and a loft and two full baths. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two sets of twin bunk beds. The large loft has a very comfortable day bed.
The main level of the home has the master bedroom with a queen bed, and master bath (including jetted tub, and separate large marble shower). There is also a half bath off the main living area. All bathrooms in the home have heated floors. There is a stunning full kitchen, a vaulted dining area with seating for ten, and a breathtaking vaulted living area with a wood-burning fireplace overlooking the ski hill.
The walkout level sleeps up to nine. The fourth bedroom has a nice iron queen-size bed and the fifth bedroom will accommodate four more in two sets of log bunk beds. One of the log bunk beds is built-in with an oversized full-size bed in a "loft" over the lower bunk. There is also an exceptionally comfortable futon in the living area.
This level has one full bath. All of the floors in the walkout level are heated! You haven’t lived until you have walked on heated floors barefoot! This is not your average "lower level"; there are 10 foot ceilings and about 16 feet of windows looking out on the ski hill and surrounding woods! Just on the other side of Schuss Mountain is the new Tom Weiskopf designed Cedar River Golf Course.
The total home sleeps up to eighteen in thirteen individual beds:
Three queens, eight twins, one full futon sleeper sofa and one full-size loft.
Enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Enjoy downhill skiing on Schuss Mountain, golf at the Legend, the Bear, the Cedar River course, or your favorite Northern Michigan golf resort. Swim indoors or outdoors in Schuss Mountain's pools. Ride snowmobiles all the way to the UP. Relax after golfing or skiing in a 6-person hot tub below the large wrap-around deck overlooking the Sally's Alley ski run. Or just curl up with a good book in front of the fire.
Shanty Creek is only 20 minutes from Boyne Mountain, and 40 minutes from Traverse City. Enjoy a sunset over Torch Lake (only 15 minutes away and voted one of the ten most beautiful lakes in the world). Sail on Lake Bellaire, or collect Petosky Stones on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Lake Bellaire is just minutes away, so bring your boat; the launch is only a few miles away! You can swim, or boat the entire "Chain of Lakes" (Torch, Bellaire, Elk, Clam, and Skegemog). Stroll through small-town Bellaire and enjoy the laid-back resort-town atmosphere and local shops.
Four Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive is highly recommended during the ski season (or anytime from mid September to late April when snow is a possibility).
