Property Information
On South Lake Leelanau near Leland in Leelanau County create lasting family vacation memories at this nicely furnished, well-equipped and well-maintained summer home established as "Willow Run" in 1981 commemorating the beautiful willow tree which still graces the property near the lake's edge. This summer home is two miles south of the village of Lake Leelanau on the east side of the lake.
The property boasts a lovely lawn between the house and 100 feet of lake front where guests can lounge, picnic and play their favorite outdoor games. The large lawn on the roadside welcomes visitors with a stone walk to the front door. Two cars can be parked in the attached garage. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, a TV/VCR, large closets, and a private bathroom. The two other bedrooms are furnished with two twin beds each and share a full bath with two sinks. The den on the ground floor has a regular queen bed (not pull-out).
The beds are comfortable and fairly new, and the entire inside of the house has just been repainted. The outside has been newly sided with an addition of a lovely deck off the living room and kitchen.
Centrally located in Leelanau County, Leland's Fishtown, The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, The National Lake Shore Parks, dozens of unique art galleries and antique shops, world-class restaurants, many challenging golf courses, wonderful shops, a movie theater in Suttons Bay, and breath taking views of orchards, vineyards, farm land, woods and water, can all be enjoyed as visitors meander around this beautiful peninsula.
This summer home provides many amenities, including a dock, a gas grill, a fireplace, a picnic table and outdoor furniture, broadband access, cable TV , DVD, VCR, and a CD player. Further, all linens, towels (except beach towels), paper products and soaps are provided.
