The North Georgia Mountains offer you not only the beauty and tranquility of a special place but back-to-nature activities such as hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing and horseback riding. No matter what activity you decide rest assured that you'll experience the natural beauty that only the North Georgia Mountains can offer!
"Mountain Joy" will add to this wonderful experience when you spend a relaxing time in this wonderful log cabin! Take some time and relax in the hot-tub on the covered deck or enjoy a late afternoon of peace and serenity on the screened porches.
"Mountain Joy" has privacy so you will have that feeling of being in a world of your own in a private mountain hideaway. Enjoy the stone, wood-burning fireplace in the fall or winter as you add another log to the crackling fire. Snuggle up with that special person or spend time making memories with family and friends!
"Mountain Joy" is a two level chink log cabin. There are two bedrooms and a loft and two baths. The main level of "Mountain Joy" has a kitchen with a dishwasher, dining room and living room. Just off from the living room is a screened porch with a swing and rockers and a wonderful view of the mountains. There is also a nice table and chairs, charcoal grill for afternoon grilling or an early morning breakfast. There is 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. This level has a bathroom and a washer and dryer in the hall laundry area.
The upstairs is an open loft with a king size bed, a bathroon with a Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy the cool mountain breezes along with a nice cup of coffee in the morning as you take in all the sounds of nature from the screened porch just off from the king loft bedroom. The view is wonderful from this private porch and has lots of furniture for you to enjoy!
"Mountain Joy" is an ideal cabin to view the brilliant colors of fall from rich reds to blazing gold and orange. Visit many of the fall festivals that dot the area during October when the air is clean and crisp. Stop by the Apple House where you can take home some mountain apples, jams and jellies. Pick up some apple bread or that all time favorite southern "fried pie"!

Number of people a cabin accommodates is the maximum permitted in the cabin during your stay
Additonal persons is $ 10 per person per night and

10% tax will be added to all rent and a housekeeping fee

This cabin has a wood burning fireplace and we provide the wood during the fall and winter between October 1 to April 1.
