This is a great timber beam cabin filled with warmth and charm. The cabin is nestled on the banks of the scenic Bitterroot River in a private yet convenient location. Ideally situated in Western Montana 20 minutes south of Missoula. The Osprey cabin is what Montana is all about.
If you like amazing sunrises over the mountains, cool sunny days and nighttime skies filled with thousands of stars you will love the Osprey cabin. Directly across the river from the cabin is the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife refuge. To out delight wildlife abounds on the property with deer, turkey, eagles, and a host of others animals can be spotted thoughout the year.
Our private access to the river offers exciting wade fishing and floating options. This section of the river has outstanding fishing for cutthroat, rainbow and brown trout. This is an excellent fishing opportunity.
Whether you enjoy hiking, tubing the river to the cabin or taking a nap on the deck this is the perfect cabin for you. The Osprey cabin will offer you a memorable family vacation, fly fishing trip, or relaxing getaway. Step out of your busy life and experience the Osprey cabin.
The cabin/ home has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master suite has a queen bed, fireplace and bath. Located upstairs are two bedrooms. One has a queen and a twin bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has their own full bathroom. The cabin comfortably sleeps six adults.
It sits on the banks of the beautiful Bitterroot River on 10 acres with a large yard to pursue outdoor activities. It has a full length covered deck to enjoy the view of the river. The Bitterroot Mountains are the view out the backside.
The spacious living room/ dining area has vaulted ceilings, fireplace and is a great room design with the large tiled gourmet kitchen adjacent.
The cabin is comfortably decorated with a western theme. It comes with a fully furnished kitchen, all linens, BBQ grill, TV satellite, games, puzzles and even a washer and dryer.
