Looking for something off the beaten path? Check out the ground level residence of our very unique 1930's home. This unique duplex mansion is large scale and with architecture that pays respect to Frank Lloyd Wright and the Arts and Crafts era. Our home was built as, and after many years of recent rebuilding, remains a luxury duplex home. Suite Two, is our home and occupying the upper floors and balconies. Suite One we offer as a vacation rental which occupies the entire first floor and boasts over 1900 interior square feet plus an expansive 10 x 42 covered veranda with outdoor dining. This comfortable space invokes a feeling of being in a quaint cottage. Simply furnished with an array of finds and simple antiques, our goal was to create a simple and comfortable spot. Sit back, relax and kick your feet up on the coffee table.

| We are located at the end of a quiet street literally in the backyards of Fort Sam Houston's Historic officers homes. While just over a mile to the infamous Alamo, enjoy a walk around the block at see horses grazing in pasture on Fort Sam's park like grounds. We're in wonderful small neighborhood rich in history and interesting architecture of the early 20th century. We feel we have established an urban oasis in the city. This great central location just off Broadway is about two miles north of the Alamo. We overlook Fort Sam's historic officer quarters and San Antonio skyline. The location offers easy access to downtown, Fort Sam Houston, museums, Alamo Heights, great shopping and more. Easy highway access in any direction. |
