It isn't that unusual to have to call for slight maintenance issues. This is the first time that there was such a long list of little things that needed to be made right in the house. It seemed that as the week went on we kept finding more items. I wish more renters were as vigilant as we were, as items that should have been reported were not.

Lovely house, great area. Very comfortable. And the service team members that visited the house were pleasant and helpful.

My family had a fantastic experience in this beautiful home (ages 17 months to 65 years). It had a well stocked kitchen and tons of children's stuff on hand- baby gates, high chair,2 pack n plays, toys, booster seat, beach toys. Beach chairs, kayak, beach cart and wagon too! There was plenty of room inside and out on the decks for everyone to enjoy together or break off for some quiet time. We were able to cook our meals together and eat at the table. Older children enjoyed the game room downstairs. We played family games from the cupboard. It was a quick walk to the beach, you can walk or make a quick drive next door to the to Timbuck II shops or Food Lion for groceries. We did some little trips to Kill Devil Hills, Duck, the Currituck Lighthouse etc. but enjoyed feeling like we were in a calm, quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, well decorated and felt comfortable. We called about an issue with the vaccuum and had a new one delivered within a few hours. Fantastic customer service! This was our first big family vacation- and we left wanting to book again for next year!

Our family had a great time. It was very relaxing.
Home was will maintained and had good floor plan. The house was located in a good location and was close to grocery stores and other amenities. We road on the beach and saw the wild horses. We received great customer service and would recommend to a friend.

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our experience in this community and at this property. The house was clean when we arrived. The overall condition of the house itself is a mixed bag -- there was some mold/mildew around the kitchen sink and in the master shower that needs to be addressed, some of the drawers/cabinets in the kitchen were peeling and the walls could use a scrub. With a little TLC, this place would be perfect, because the amount of space was great, the sleeping arrangements/furniture were great, the location was excellent (easy walk to beach, community pool, and Timbuk II shopping center), and the owners provided a lot of extras for the tenants like beach chairs, boogie boards, board games, sand toys and a cart for ease of transport. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

We had a wonderful time in this house! The kitchen was well stocked- had a blender and we even made cookies and air fryer french fries one night! Short walk to the beach. Well stocked “beach” closet- sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. Hot tub was good as well as the hammock!

The family was able to meet at Crow’s Nest with the exception of one sibling due to Covid. The house was very comfortable and accommodating. The house was conveniently located to grocery stores, markets, restaurants and shops. The weather was not good due to the tropical storm, but the visit was very nice!

Lovely home, well furnished and stocked for all our needs. Even had a high chair/booster seat. Light, airy and well spread out. One block off of beach, and our beach was not particularly crowded. Had a great time. Very clean, but was just worn enough to be comfortable.

Nice home approximately 10 houses from the beach and down the street from the Community Pool. The house easily accommodated a family of 10 and the 6 bathrooms were a plus. Convenient location that was very close to grocery store, shops and local attractions.

We had a great time at the Outer Banks and the Crow's nest was a wonderful place for our family to all come together. The bedrooms (three of them en suite) were great and the large living room/dining area was perfect for relaxing, chatting and playing games. There was some concern about the sewage treatment plant being so close, but it was not an issue. Proximity to the Timbuk 2 shopping area and grocery stores (Food Lion and Harris Teeter) was also a plus. The cleaning of the premises prior to our arrival was not the best. We had to do some fairly extensive cleaning. There was a large squashed fly in the middle of the glass door in the living room - yuck!

Located just a short block from the beach, the house had everything we wanted, in working order, and very clean. Make sure to bring your own towels and sheets (or rent them in advance). Two grocery stores are nearby. We'll be back next year!
