We had 3 different families and two dogs with us. We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Great house that is affordable. Adorable welcome gift from the owners including things for the pups! Had an issue with the pool and the rental company sent someone out that same day.

We had everything we needed, except ice for a short time. Bring ice the first day. After starting the ice makers a d filling the trays, you should be able to maintain a cooler or two. The external ice make in the top kitchen never worked for us. Other than that the place is ready to go for just about any need. Plenty of cookery, lots of chairs, many games if you get stuck indoors.

Lovely stay from start to finish. The check in and departure were excellently handled with virtual options that made coming and going a breeze. House was gorgeous and clean and the staff on hand were very quick to respond and resolve minor issues. Definitely will stay again!

This house was absolutely beautiful and one of the nicest we stayed at in corolla. It was on a dead end cauldasac. The pool was big only downfall were the flies(definitely went and bought tiki torches). The kitchen was fully equipped. There were so many games for the kids to play with as well as space for them to run around. The house was clean,updated, beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, and plenty of room to give us all space. Only downfall we had was had call to get pool and hottub serviced, the test strip showed no chemicals after 4 days of them coming out at check in. The walk to the beach was about 3.5 blocks but such an easy walk to get there. The wagon provided with house was huge help. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Very well kept and maintained. All appliances in working order, except we had a little technical difficulty with the ice maker, one of those countertop jobs, anyway between the 2 refrigerators, it wasn't needed. Very pet and child friendly (balls, frisbees, drinking bowls were available) as were gate guards and a high chair. Much appreciated. Only issue we had was a stopped up drain in the master bath, that we discovered upon arriving and showering.. Did not notify the rental company until Monday morning (not a life or death emergency). They never returned my call so I sent an email asking if they are going to fix or should we move to another bedroom? The plumber showed up the following day (Tuesday) and cleared the drain of about 3 years worth of hair. Wondering how come the cleaning crew hadn't noticed this before? The weather was perfect for late May, so we didn't get a chance to experience the vast number of games or all the available TV channels, but they were there for us if we got rained in. Who ever is doing the pool maintenance deserves a mention. Showed up at least 3 times during our stay, drained and refilled the hot tub (foaming) and kept the pool clean and filled. Even though it said not to rearrange the furniture, we felt it was necessary in the pool table room. The rack has no place to hang, so is kept on an end table on the window side of the room. Not wanting a miscue to interrupt our week, we moved the table to the north side of the house, so when you are racking the balls, you will not be able to break any windows with a miscue. Everyone had a great time, pool still a little chilly in the beginning of the week, but we were all in on Th, Fr. I hope the owners get to see this message, great property and well maintained.

The home is very nice and roomie. The beds are very comfortable. I would recover the two chairs with ottoman on 3rd floor but rest of furniture is in good shape & comfortable. It was our 1st visit to OBX and we had a very enjoyable time.

The rental was extremely clean. We were happy with all the updates and new bedroom from the year before. The pool was very clean as was the spa. The weather was less than perfect so we were grateful for a nice place to stay. I would recommend this rental.

This was our first time vacationing at the OBX and we loved it. The property was super clean and very welcoming. The pool and hot tub were a big hit along with the top floor open concept which made everyone feel as if they could spread out. My only issue was no grill. The charcoal grills reminded me to much of a parks grill and not very desirable. This caused me to bring my portable grill which took up much needed space. I would suggest investing in a decent propane grill.

We were a group of 7 couples with kids (24 of us) that rented this house a d one near by. This owner knows what they are doing! Home was well equipped with everything we need. Easy walk to beach and close to stores. We enjoyed ourselves. Loved the pool table and downstairs area!

Our experience was definitely a 5 star. Starting with Beach Realty Rental Company they were outstanding. Communication with them was outstanding they made sure all your needs were met every step of the way. The house was exactly the way it looked in the pictures. Very clean with everything you could possibly need. Everything worked the pool and hot tub were clean and maintenece came to clean our pool they were very friendly. I had a total of 12 people and
there was more than enough room to sleep comfortably for everyone. The ocean was just a short walk away they even provided a wagon to carry things to and from the Beach. They also had a basketball hoop for the grandkids. I could go on and on and even though we decided not to bring our dogs the home owners had provided all kinds of treats and accessories for your animals . Thank you to the Kavanagh family who shared their home and even greeted us with a bottle wine. It was an outstanding vacation for all of us.

It was a great time. The weather was a bit chilly and rainy for the first few days but living in NC, you never know what kind of day you will have. However, the house was perfect to have a rainy day. Plenty of games and a lot of fun pool �� challenges. The hot tub was perfect after a polar plunge into the pool. ��
Plenty of space for our children and their children.
The only issue we have with the property was the lack of sharp k Ives. They’re were plenty of knives but not a single one was sharp. Also, the can opener was broken and we had to go and buy one. But that is the only negative out of the whole place

This was a great house and very spacious. It had plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. It is very close to shopping and grocery stores. It was not a short walk to the beach we had a lot to carry that was the only inconvenience but other than that it was great!

We had such a wonderful time here! The owner was excellent in responding when there was a small concern over cleaning. Wasn’t enough to make us never stay again. We went 4th of July week so trying to go through Duck and get south was longer than normal. It was nice and “quiet” in Corolla. There was 10 of us and was nice to be able to “spread out” and not feel we were on top of each other. Kitchen well stocked with utensils/plates/small appliances. The kids and adults absolutely loved hanging around the pool in the evenings!

We had our two sons and daughter and family for a whole week at surfin paws.
We like the Corolla location because it is away from the crowded area but at the beach and access to to many things around. The house at surfin paws is wonderful. It met the needs of was clean when we arrived, everything worked in the house. Very very very nice. The staff was so helpful.

House was very accommodating only thing I would suggest is allowing the top floor bedroom to have a closet to use instead of it being a locked owners closet . The room is very cramped as it is with a large bed and one side is crammed against a wall. Luckily we are thin. I think it has one too many dressers in there and the room could be more spacious with one less. Frying pans need replacing we ended up buying one to use, But the pool and home were perfect otherwise !

This house was perfect for our trip to the beach. We had two families with 8 kids. Every kid had a bed and there was plenty of room to spread out! The house was clean. We loved the hardwood floors. We did not bring our dog, but would consider it on our next visit. We did not love Corolla due to the amount of traffic, and the distance we had to drive to get anywhere. The days we chose to just stay at the house, it was fine. That being said, the beach was very busy during our stay. I would either not visit in August again, or choose to stay closer to Duck.

This rental house was perfect! It is about a 7 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the little shops. The house had everything we needed from 2 coffee makers and a Keurig to a griddle and plenty of plates, bowls and silverware. The layout of the house was nice and the pool area was great. It was nice to step outside in the back of the house and have some privacy from the neighbors. My family and I will definitely be back.. well at least I can hope.

We were very pleased with the layout and house that we choose. A few things that would make vacation a little smoother would be providing beach equipment and a crockpot for cooking. We loved the location in regards to closeness to grocery stores and things to do. I would recommend the wild horse adventure tour..we all enjoyed it.
