Property Description
Make Yosef At Home in your new favorite mountain getaway! This is a gracious and welcoming 4 bedroom home perfectly located between Boone and Banner Elk in Seven Devils just minutes away from Hawksnest Tubing.
The main level greets you with a spacious open great room with soaring vaulted ceilings. At one end is the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a large island. The dining table seats 8, with room for three more at the island. At the other end of the great room is the living area, with leather furniture arranged around a gas log fireplace with a large HDTV mounted over it.
To the left of the great room is one of the three bedrooms on this floor. This is the largest of the three, and features a King bed, TV, walkout access to the deck, an electric fireplace, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower, soaking tub, double granite vanities, and a walkin closet with built in shelves.
There are two more King bedrooms to the right of the great room. The back bedroom has a King bed and TV and walkout deck access, and its bathroom is the nearby hall bath with a tub/shower and granite vanities. The front bedroom has a King bed and TV and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower.
The lower level of the home is a paradise for the young at heart! The den offers a huge L-shaped sectional couch in front of a wall-mounted TV, and there's also a shuffleboard table and a hightop table & 4 chairs. A full bath is off this room with a shower. The fourth bedroom is on the other side of the den, and offers two sets of twin bunk beds as well as two single twin beds each with a trundle - that's room for 8 to sleep comfortably. Fluffy beanbag chairs are here as well, the perfect spot to kick back and have fun!
The outdoor living spaces of this home are just as lovely as the inside. On the main level deck you'll find some wicker couches and chairs, along with a gas grill and a patio table. On the lower level deck is a 6-person hot tub. The in-ground firepit is easy to get to as well - just walk over from the upper deck.
This home is conveniently located 7 miles from Boone, 5 miles from Banner Elk, and 10 miles from Blowing Rock. Also just 1 mile from Hawksnest Resort, 15 minutes to Mast General Store, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and 20 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park, and Linville Falls. - The owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe when unoccupied. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows. There is one camera on the back deck that overlooks the firepit and patio table.
- This property is accessed by a gravel driveway with a moderate uphill incline. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the all properties in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!
