Welcome to Mountain Tranquility!

Mountain Tranquility offers 3 private sleeping areas.
Main Level: Master King
Upper Level: Queen plus full size futon
Upper Level: Two twin beds
(There is also an additional full size futon on the lower level.)

Located just minutes to Downtown Boone, this home is near all local attractions! Visit Appalachian State University, the nearby towns of Blowing Rock or Banner Elk, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Hawksnest Snow tubing, various hiking trails, Grandfather Mountain, and much more!

Step outside to enjoy the spacious deck with several places to sit and enjoy the fresh air and seasonal mountain views. You'll enjoy the warmth of the gas fire table in the evenings or enjoy some time relaxing in the hot tub. On a rainy day you can stay in and enjoy the game room downstairs. There is a theater screen with surround sound for streaming sports or your favorite movie and also a foosball game table. In the living room there is a gas log fireplace and smart TV. There are also smart TVs in the master and queen bedrooms.

Important Notes:
- Please note the homeowners use an exterior camera facing the driveway. No other cameras are pointed at or in the home or at any of the outdoor common areas.
- Linens and towels are provided for you stay.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. 
- The road is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended November-March, and may be required in times of inclement weather. Please plan accordingly.
- The road to this home is paved with a paved driveway as well.
- This home is pet friendly for a maximum of two(2) adult, well-behaved dogs only.
