Property Description

Welcome to Martin's Nest. Martin's Nest is a mountain-style cabin in The Lakes of Seven Devils. Within walking distance from the Lakes are three stocked lakes. Guests can fish for Trout and Bass. The tranquil, wooded area borders an idyllic stream, making it a perfect place for kids and adults to explore, camp, and fish.

The cabin has been lovingly renovated with new paint and floors. The exterior features three large covered decks. There are many outdoor furniture options, including hammocks and porch swings. You can use a charcoal or electric grill. The property slopes to a lower level where there is a fire pit. The property runs along a creek and has pathways leading to it. This property is a safe and fun place for children.

The main floor has an open floor plan, hardwood flooring and a central living room with comfortable furniture centered around a HDTV with flat-panel and Blu-Ray player. The main floor has a wood-burning fire place and high ceilings, with exposed beams. The dining room is open to the living area and has a table with eight (8) seats plus a highchair. The center island table has two (2) additional chairs. Two (2) additional chairs are located on a second table in the lower level game room. Twelve (12) people plus the high chair can sit together for dinner. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size. The bedroom is connected with a full bathroom located in the hallway.

The lower floor has a Brunswick Pool Table and a TV with VHS players. The game room opens up to a bunk-room with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. This room can accommodate up to five (5) people. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a TV and DVD player, and a full bathroom. The mudroom, laundry room and game room are located in the main room. They lead to the lower terrace and hammock.

The loft on top has a master suite and a bathroom with a tub. The loft has a queen-sized bedroom, a bathroom with a full bathtub, and an office space that includes a desk, twin daybeds, and a twin daybed.

The house is nearly 4,000 feet tall and does not get much sun. It is comfortable in the summer. There is no air-conditioning. Each room has ceiling fans. The ceilings are very high and there are large windows that let in mountain breezes. The upstairs master bedroom has a window-fan to provide extra comfort on hot days. The cabin is heated on all three levels.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will result in 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. If you have travel coverage and the reason of cancellation is covered, you can get the full amount back.
