Property Description

Welcome to The Refuge!

The Refuge is a charming cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located near Boone, West Jefferson and the Blue Ridge Parkway. This cabin is located in a great location, less than 10 miles from Boone and West Jefferson. The Refuge is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other High Country attractions such as Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain.  
The main floor features a great room featuring vaulted, high ceilings and hardwood flooring. The great room is open to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area for six people. On the main floor, two bedrooms flank a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other two twin-sized beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with HDTVs. The main level is completed by a covered front porch, a rear deck with an open-air gas grill and a hot tub.  
The upstairs master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a soaking tub in the middle, as well as an HDTV.  
The Refuge provides a fun outdoor environment with many amenities for our guests. Explore the rolling hills and explore the natural path that leads to a wooded fire pit and picnic area. Relax in the hot-tub on the rear deck. The property is located at the end a quiet residential street and is private.  
*Please note: A pathway leads from the house down to the hollow which has the creek, picnic area, fire pit and peaceful grounds. A lighting system outside will help you navigate the path at night. Mountain terrain can be dangerous for those who are not paying attention or are careless. The rocks, especially those near or in the creek, can be slippery. Terrain can be uneven and cause falls and ankle sprains. Please be careful and stay safe.

Note: The property is equipped with two exterior security cameras that face the front door, parking lot and the side. The cameras only work when guests are not present in the home. The cameras are not positioned in any of the living rooms or decks of the house.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
