The "Have No Regrets", a 2BR, 2.5BA mountain cottage, is charming and cozy. It is conveniently located at Blowing Rock on Appalachian Ski Mountain. You can walk from the cottage to the Appalachian Ski Mountain Lodge and the ski slopes. You can also go ice skating or snow tubing. Downtown Blowing Rock has shopping, restaurants, and many other activities within 4 miles. Tweetsie Railroad and High Gravity Adventures are both within 4 miles. Appalachian State University and Boone town are only 5 miles apart. Boone Golf Course, Grandfather Mountain and the famous Profile hiking trails can be reached in 17 miles. Valle Crucis with its Original Mast General Store and large riverfront park is 12 miles away. The cottage is a two-level home with a level entry and parking. If you park carefully, two cars will fit comfortably here, and three can be parked at the entrance. RVs and trailers cannot be parked in the designated three-car parking space. The main floor features a kitchen and dining area with an open concept. The main level also features a living room with HD Smart TV and a gas woodtstove. The LR sofa can be opened up to create a queen-sized bed. The main floor has a full-sized shower and a washer/dryer. The main deck is partially covered and partly open-air. It has a hinged top that can be used as an outdoor dining table, gas grills and comfortable outdoor furniture. Two bedroom suites are located upstairs. One of the suites has a King-size Bed, HD Smart TV, and a private bathroom. The second suite features a Queen-size bed, HD SmartTV and a full ensuite bathroom with a shower. The new owners have completed a complete renovation. This includes new furniture, a fireplace in the LR and new TVs throughout. They also updated the kitchen and bathrooms. WiFi internet access and TV programming are available to guests. Have No Regrets plans to do more fun things for the future.
