Connie's log cabin, a three bedroom log cabin with three and a quarter bathrooms, was built in the 1950s by Connie’s grandmother. This authentic log home is located in Banner Elk’s exclusive Tynecastle neighborhood. It is conveniently located to access all the high country has to offer. Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain are both only ten minutes away. Everything you need is within walking distance. This includes coffee, shopping, hiking and fishing. The great room of this three-level house is surrounded by rock and wood features. The home has vaulted ceilings and a rock fireplace that uses gas logs. It also has a large stone fireplace. The HD flat screen smart TV has a large screen and can be used for viewing designer furniture and the beautiful views through the skylights or windows. The open kitchen has custom cabinetry, tile counters, high-end appliances and custom cabinetry. The bar stool will be popular in the dining and kitchen area. It has a smooth wood-topped surface. The dining room has an expandable table that can seat up to ten people in a quiet corner. The main deck features a gas barbecue, an outdoor dining area, and wicker furniture. The lower deck of the Tynecastle Community offers more space to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the mature hardwood forest. Both decks look out onto a grassy, level yard that has a wood-burning fireplace for evening gatherings. This house has four sleeping areas. The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and a private bath. The master bathroom has a custom tiled shower with a rain shower head. The bathroom also features a soaking tub. The loft space on the upper level overlooks the great-room. The upper-level queen-sized suite has two queen-sized bed, a bathroom with ROKU TV, and a walk-in closet. The loft can sleep two people and has a trundled mattress, board games, puzzles and a desk. The lower level includes a queen-sized suite with a TV and en-suite bathroom. There is also an additional queen-sized bedroom with tv and access to a lower deck. Connies Log Cabin features Wifi, washer/dryer in the main floor, near the half-bathroom, central heating, and air conditioning. The gravel driveway leads you to the gravel parking areas. Parking is available in both the lower and upper gravel areas. There are also paved community roads. Reservations are required for up to two pets. Pet fees are charged at the standard rate.
