Welcome to The Cozy Cub!

The Cozy Cub is situated in Blowing Rock, on Appalachian Ski Mountain. It's only a four-minute walk to the family-friendly ski lodge, ski slopes, and ice skating rink. Five minutes drive will take you to downtown Blowing Rock, where you can find shopping, restaurants and other activities. This convenient location is only five miles from Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures downtown Boone and the Appalachian State University Campus. Grandfather Mountain, the popular Profile hiking trail, and Valle Crucis with its original Mast general store and waterfront community park are all nearby. Alpine Gravity Roller Coaster is also close by.

The main floor includes a cozy living area with gas log fireplace, tv and sound bar, dining room and kitchen. The Deck has an outdoor table, chairs and deck couch that includes a gas fireplace table. It overlooks the custom-built flagstone patio located in the lower yard. The patio includes a wood burning fire pit, gas grill and outdoor dining table. The loft has a shuffleboard table and the lower level family area has a foosball game in addition to another tv with sound bar.

The master bedroom is located on the main level. It has a large flat-screen tv with deck access, and a private ensuite bathroom. The second king-size bedroom is located upstairs with a tv, and a private ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom, with two full-sized beds and an ensuite bathroom, is located downstairs. The lower level sofa can be converted into a queen-size sleeper, allowing up to 10 guests to stay comfortably.

Other amenities include wifi, central heating and air conditioning, washer and dryer and popular streaming services on the common TV's via a Fire Stick or your own accounts on the bedroom TV's. The Cozy Cub does not allow pets. Parking is available for two cars. AWD or 4WD is highly recommended for winter driving.

CANCELLATION POLICY:You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
