Appalachian Sunrise, a beautiful log home with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, is surrounded by a picturesque forest. A private lake is also nearby, within a short drive or walk. The cabin has both a sunny and shady front porch that overlooks the beautiful mountain views in the gated, private community of Riverbend. This cabin is 7.5 mile from Lake Lure Beach and 8.5 miles from Chimney Rock state park. It's also 19 miles away to the Tryon International Equestrian Center, home to the 2018 World Equestrian Games.

Appalachian Sunrise features a great room that includes a cathedral ceiling with a gas fireplace, Wi-Fi and a DVD/Blu ray player. It also has a flat-screen TV, surround sound, Direct TV, and a DVD/Blu ray player. The dining area has seating for six people, and a breakfast bar with two additional seats. This property has a well-equipped kitchen. The main floor has a master suite with a king-size bed, flat-screen television, French doors leading to the deck, and a walk-in-shower. In the hallway, there is a half-bath. You'll find a loft upstairs overlooking the great-room, as well as a guest room with a king bed, and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a queen bed. There is also a shared bathroom. The lower-level game room and family area has a pool table and a 70'' flat screen TV with Direct TV. There is also a beer/wine fridge and patio. There is a lower level bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom.

Enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and large deck on the outside. Wildlife is abundant including deer, various birds, rabbits and wild turkey. The cabin has an upscale mountain lodge feel. The views are better in the winter but you'll feel at home at Appalachian Sunrise at any time of year.

The location is convenient to nearby restaurants, zip-lines, hiking, boating, fishing, and swimming. The Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock state park are within a short distance. You can go tubing, swimming, or fishing in the river within minutes of your cabin.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 4 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
