Welcome to Brookside Retreat!

This lovely home, located about 10 minutes from Lake Lure, is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy everything that Lake Lure offers. This home is equipped with an Electric Vehicle Car Charger. It also has three spacious bedrooms, as well as a fire pit, gas grill, and large outdoor area. This beautiful home is equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Brookside Retreat can comfortably accommodate six people in three bedrooms with two bathrooms. Four-legged family member are also welcome.

On the main floor, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals. The dining area can accommodate up to six people and is located next to the spacious living area. You can also take your dinner to the patio to enjoy the forest view.

The Master Bedroom is located upstairs. It has a King Bed and an attached bathroom that includes a claw-foot tub. There is also a beautiful renovated shower with dual shower heads. A foosball game is located right outside the master bedroom. The main floor also has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a second bath.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are a beautiful place to vacation, but its remoteness and solitude only enhances the experience! Please be aware that the WIFI can be unstable in this area. There may be limitations on downloading, streaming and/or videoconferencing.

Note: We are fortunate that many species of wildlife call this area home. We hope that you will see many deer, bunnies, and birds during your stay. You may also see other wildlife, which, while adorable or exciting, can be dangerous. Among those animals are bears, and different species of poisonous serpents. You should be careful when walking at night, when our night vision may not be as good. It is best to not leave food outside or unattended overnight, as many animals will consider it a tasty treat. It is not only cute but also dangerous.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

Dogs (1 or 2) are welcome in this home.All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking for four vehicles.Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
