Welcome to Rocky River Retreat II, a small, cozy home away.

What better way to enjoy your vacation than staying at a home only a few miles from Lake Lure or Chimney Rock? This home is located just outside of Bat Cave, and it's only 3 miles away from Chimney rock and 6 miles away from Lake Lure. Want to take a day trip? Asheville, Downtown Hendersonville, and the Tryon International Equestrian Center are all within a distance of 23 miles. Plan your itinerary knowing that these great cities are only miles away!

This newly renovated home is the perfect homey feeling to make your vacation feel as if you were at home. You enter the cottage and find the fully-functional kitchen to your left. This kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You will find the coffee bar directly in front of the kitchen. It has a standard auto drip coffee maker, as well as coffee mugs for you to start your morning off right. You will find the living room on the left. You will find a comfortable L-shaped couch, perfect for watching a movie. You can enjoy the beautiful outdoors from the couch in the living room. Enjoy a meal on the deck or a coffee while overlooking the Rocky Broad River. Listen to the sounds of birds chirping and the leaves moving. You'll feel like you are in paradise with the view and sounds. The bathroom is on your left as you walk back into the house from the deck. The bathroom is beautiful and updated with the perfect touches, including a walk-in shower. You will enter the bedroom straight ahead after walking through the living area. The functional bedroom has a closet, as well as a washing machine and dryer. This romantic home is full of the perfect touches for a relaxing vacation. AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 1-2 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
