This log cabin in the Lakes Community offers a mountain feel with all the luxuries of home. Brand new and fully furnished La Casita comfortably sleeps up to six people with a queen bed in the master down stairs and a queen bed in each guest room up stairs. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and the two guest rooms upstairs share a large Jack and Jill bathroom each with their respective dressing areas. Amenities include 3 TV's all with cable, VCR and DVD in the living room, gas fireplace with real flames at the touch of a button (no mess), gas grill, 8 rockers along the covered wrap around deck, fully equipped kitchen(new appliances), washer and dryer, central air and heat, and ceiling fans in all the rooms. Guests of the Lakes Community have access to stocked, catch and release ponds and the Seven Devils Community playground and tennis courts. Take advantage of golf or hiking during the summer months, skiing and tubing in the winter and spectacular views all year round. Activities are within a short drive. No Pets or Smoking ALLOWED. Four wheel drive is recommended for the winter months.

It is actually located right in Seven Devil's on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-carts, and gem mining.
