Nothing compares to staying in an Arrowhead Chalet. This chalet, built for adventure, is tucked away on Andesite slopeside just off the Silverknife Ski Run. This newly renovated Arrowhead Chalet features a mountain-modern interior that allows you to enjoy the stunning views of Spanish Peaks and the forest. The Arrowhead Chalets provide unmatched access to Big Sky Mountain Village! The Arrowhead Chalets are located next to the Arrowhead Mall, which includes the Cabin Bar and Grill (The Cabin Bar and Grill), Scissorbills Saloon, and Lone Mountain Sports.

You can enjoy hiking and mountain-biking trails in the summer on Big Sky Resort’s vast terrain. After a day of hiking, head to Yeti Dogs in the Mountain Village for ice cream and hot dogs. Summer in Big Sky offers a variety of activities, including white water rafting and zip-lining. You can also go horseback riding, paddleboarding on Lake Levinsky, mountain biking, hiking and more. In the evening, head down the mountain to Town Center. Start the night with drinks and appetizers at The Rocks Liquor Store and Tasting Room, and then go to Ousel and Spur for gourmet pizzas and salads. The Standard is the perfect place to end your night with dessert and cocktails. The free Big Sky Skyline service to the Town Center will drop you right outside the Arrowhead Chalets if you don't want to drive.

Skiing is right outside your back door in the winter! The best way to access the ski slopes is from a chalet on the mountain. Ski to Shedhorn Grill, located in a Yurt at Andesite Mountain. You can take a break from skiing by trying snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Dog sledding is also a great option. Spend the evening in your own hot tub.

The Arrowhead Chalets are located above the street level because they are located on the mountain and adjacent to one of Big Sky’s main ski runs. The Arrowhead Mall has an elevator that guests can use to get directly up to the Arrowhead Chalets. If you decide to walk up the path instead of using the elevator, be aware that it is steep. ***

Arrowhead is located just off the Silverknife blue run.

Ski Out:From the unit, walk or pole along the Arrowhead pathway until you reach the ski access. Ski down to the Big Sky Mountain Village and the new Ramcharger 6 lift or Swift Current lift (Green access) from there.

Ski In:Silverknife the headwall above Arrowhead Chalets. You can then ski back to your unit using the Arrowhead Pathway (Blue Access). Beginners can ski to the Summit Hotel, then walk from the Summit Hotel main entrance to Arrowhead Mall. From there you can take the elevator to Arrowhead Chalets.

Other Ski Info:The Arrowhead Chalets can be found right next to Lone Mountain Sports, a full service ski shop that offers equipment demos and rental services (in Arrowhead Mall). Ski out or walk to the Mountain Village base for ski school.

Additional Notes:We are a local company that manages property. Please let us know if you have any questions before, during or after your vacation. Montana A/C is a good way to cool down the house during summer. It involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman AirportIt is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
