This custom log cabin has been renovated from floor to ceiling. It is located near Big Sky Resort. This is the perfect getaway, whether you are in Montana for the ski season or for a summer vacation. Three levels, a wood burning fireplace and wood-burning oven, a hot tub and much more will help you create memories that will last a lifetime.

There are also plenty of things to do in the local area during the summer. There are many activities to do in the area, including mountain biking, fly-fishing, hiking, biking and river rafting.

Enjoy the best skiing in the winter! Start your day on the slopes. Ski to the Summit Hotel and have breakfast at Peaks. Take the Shedhorn chair lift to Shedhorn Grill and enjoy a Montana Wagyu Burger. If you want to take a break, try Spirit of the North Dog Sledding in Moonlight.

The hot tub on the deck at the back, the deck seating, the wood-burning fireplace and stove, the sauna, and many other features make this home a great place to live!

Upper Level:The primary bedroom has a king bed, seating, a dresser, a Smart TV and ONE closet for guests (sleeps 2). *Second closet is for Owner use onlyPrimary en suite with Double Vanity, Soaking Tub and Sonos Speaker

Lower Level:Family Room with Wood Burning Stove and Smart TV 2nd Guest Bedroom with two Queen Beds, Dresser and Closet (Sleeps four) Shared Guest Bathroom with Double Vanity and Sauna Bunk Room with Queen Bed, Queen Bunkbed and Closet (Sleeps 4). Ski AccessSki Out: Leave the driveway and head left to the end of the cul de sac. The path begins just to the left the red fire hydrant. You can ski about a third of the way down from the fire-hydrant, then walk up about 200 yards on a slight slope. Follow the trail up to the White Otter lift.

Ski in: Ski down White Otter, and then take the trail back to Sioux Road.

Options for ski access:1. Walk to White Otter lift, ski back.

2. Drive to White Otter lift, drop off.

3. Drive to free skier parking.

White Otter opens mid-December, and closes April 9th. We do not have control over the schedule of the ski lifts. You may need to transport your small children to the resort if they are not able to ski.

Additional Notes:We are a local company that manages property. Please let us know if you have any questions before, during or after your vacation. Montana A/C is a good way to cool down the house during summer. It involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:It is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
