In respect to the new Provincial Short Term Rental Accommodation Act, each municipality determines their specific regulations and bylaws under the province’s overarching rules. The City of Victoria is currently reviewing its Short-Term Rental Regulation Bylaw, but at this point these bylaws have not changed with Short Term Rentals currently defined as rentals or leases offering the use of all or part of a dwelling for under 30 days at a time.
 
Victoria Prime strictly adheres to the Victoria Short-Term Rental Regulation Bylaw. May however anything change in this Bylaw as from 1 May 2024, causing for the need for your reservation to be cancelled, then the reservation is cancelled at no charge to you. Victoria Prime offers a no-fee/deposit hold pending amendments to the Short-Term Rental Regulation Bylaw of the City of Victoria BC. Payment of rental rate, fees and security deposit are only due 30 days prior to the check-in date, with a subsequent payment schedule for multi-month bookings.

The Pearl Residences Building offers bicycle storage, operating on a first come first serve basis. This means that there is no guarantee that a spot will be available in the bicycle storage to store your bicycle upon your arrival. Therefore, if you plan to bring your bicycle(s) along, please reach out to Victoria Prime to discuss before booking. 

An alternative is to rent bicycles while you are here. Many of the bicycle rental companies in Victoria will allow them to be stored at their premises at the end of each day, even if you rent for a week or longer.
