The town of Healdsburg is the perfect center for an exciting vacation of wine tasting, river rafting, shopping for cutting edge fashion or old antiques. The small town contains fewer than 10,000 residents, yet contains over a dozen fine restaurants and is surrounded by over 100 wineries. Wine and fine cuisine are certainly the focus, yet well rounded with historic buildings, art galleries, museums, bike tours and spas.
With a short drive, Healdsburg can serve as an excellent launching off point for trips to the Pacific Coast where one can walk on the beach, explore tide pools, watch wales surface, and observe wildlife frolicking in the sun. The Golden Gate bridge and gateway to San Francisco is only a little over an hour away. To our north are even more wineries and the magnificent Redwoods.
Exciting outside activities include boating, fishing and exploring our Lake Sonoma at the upper end of Dry Creek Valley, Summer concerts on the plaza, biking and hiking the picturesque back roads and our many nearby golf courses.
Healdsburg Memorial Damn 1/2 mile down stream from us, has a wide sandy lifeguarded beach.
