Kona Isle: Kona Isle is oceanfront. Kona Isle is lush and richly planted with palms, hibiscus, and other colorful foliage. KONA ISLE is an oceanfront complex on Alii Drive of seventy-four one bedroom units on nicely landscaped grounds with lots of open space. There is a sandy beach for sun bathing, barbecuing or just plain relaxing yet just minutes from shopping and resturants, this complex has everything you'll want during your vacation. Two oceanfront swimming pools (one fresh water, one salt water), BBQ area on the beach. Sandy beach front for lounging. Complex Features: Lush Gardens, Pool, BBQ Area, Sandy Sunning Area.
Walking along the water's edge, just south of the resort, you'll find the popular manmade salt water pool. The complex is located on Ali'i Drive, a one and a half mile walk into the town of Kailua. The restaurant located nearest the complex is 'Jameson's by the Sea', a fine dining restaurant. The Ali'i Drive shuttle bus, painted red, white and blue, runs along Ali' Drive at approximate thirty to forty-five minute intervals. Although you are on the ocean, the best swimming beachs are approximately one mile south, or in the village one and a half miles north. White Sand Beach Park (a.k.a Magic Sands), is a few minutes drive south. Slightly further is Kahalu'u Beach Park, a renowned snorkling beach. This is popular spot to surf and snorkle; it is frequented by turtles.
