At an ideal location on the Big Island of Hawaii, 2000 feet in elevation, cooled by the trade winds. From Wild Orchid, you can conveniently drive to Hilo as well as Volcanoes National Park. After an adventurous day exploring the island, the suite is the perfect environment to relax.
Our contemporary home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Mountain View. The suite's private entry is at ground level, surrounded by tropical gardens.
The suite includes a master bedroom with a four poster queen sized bed.
Dining/Living room includes an antique entertainment center with TV cable, DVD/CD player.
The Suite is furnished with teak, mahogany and rattan imports, original paintings, photography and Hawaiiana decor.
The fully equipped kitchenette offers a small stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, dishes and cooking equipment for your convenience.
Separate bathroom includes shower and tub decorated with petroglyph paintings.
We are proud to be a part of an environmental economy, using a solar water heater and rain catchment system. We encourage our guests to conserve electricity and water.

Rates:
$85.00 a day for Double Occupancy (2 nights minimum)
*From December 15th through January 5th, suite prices are $125.00 a day.

All Rates are subject to the Hawaii State Tax of 4.167% plus the Hotel Room Tax of 7.25% in total: 11.42%
Refunds:
No Refunds for Cancellations during Holiday Seasons (including the Merry Monarch Festival, April 15-29, 2006)
No Refunds for Early Departure
Reservations:
Reservations are held with full amount of the stay, paid in advance. We accept all major Credit Cards, Travel Checks and Money Orders. Personal Checks must be received by our office at least 1 month before your arrival date.
Check in time is 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Check out time is 11:00am
If arriving later than 6:00pm, please notify the host of any special arrangements.
Cancellations:
If canceling your stay prior to 30 days of the arrival date your payment will be fully refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee.
If canceling your stay within 30 days of the arrival date your payment will be forfeited or subject to rebooking.

This island that we live on, Hawaii, or “The Big Island” is the largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Being the youngest island, we can witness today an active volcano in it’s full splendor. The Volcanoes National Park is the second most visited attraction in all Hawaii.
Our home is located 15 minutes from the gates of the National Park.
The Big Island is our favorite island because it still holds the Aloha of “Old Hawaii.” This island is the least populated and commercially developed.
Our residence is located on the East side of the Big Island, full of tropical gardens, rainforests, waterfalls, macadamia nut and coffee orchards, black and green sand beaches, secluded hot ponds and steam caves.
