This cottage is within a small resort, just steps from a beautiful private gulf beach. Drive into the Tradewinds Resort, and you will find quaint, pastel colored cottages on both sides of you hidden behind lush tropical foliage.

This is a spotless and wonderfully located hideaway resort that has won the "Superior Small Lodging White Glove Award"
Tradewinds Resort has also won an award from Expedia! We are in the top 1% of all their resorts WORLD-WIDE!! This is a HUGE honor!!!

1 bedroom with king bed 1 bath, full kitchen with open floor plan and breakfast bar, living room w/sofa sleeper and cable TV (2). Two huge closets in the bedroom, one a walk-in. 533 sq. ft. inside, 662 sq. ft. including the outdoor porch.
Everything you need is here! Fully equipped! About 100 feet from the resort to the beautiful private beach.

The island is very narrow here, and the pool and fishing dock are on the Sarasota Bay, you just cross Gulf Drive and you are on the beach!

The island is 7 miles long, located just south of the Tampa Bay area and just north of Longboat Key.....on the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful white sugar sand beaches.........and sunsets that will take your
breath away.

Payment Options: all payments are made directly to the resort

Check In: 4:00 PM

Check Out: 11:00 AM

Required Stay: any

Deposits: 1 day for less that a 7 night stay, or $300 for a week or more.

Lodging Tax: 11.5%

Cancellation Policy: before 14 days prior arrival, 10% of deposit is lost. Within 14 days, full deposit is lost.

Other Fees: Departure clean fee for weekly rates. only tax.

Other Policies: $25 pet fee - must be under 35 lbs. 2 pet limit.

Heated pool on the Sarasota Bay.....laundry facilities on site, and a fantastic fishing dock. Daily housekeeping is provided, fresh towels, etc. There is a private barbecue grill and picnic area. There is on-site management with a front office that will provide beach towels, beach umbrellas, and a free video library.

Property Activities

Parasailing, deep sea fishing charter boats, jet ski rentals, boat rentals, bike rentals, and don't forget to ride the free island trolley. Many golf courses within 1/2 hour's drive. The island is full of fantastic restaurants and cafes, many right on the gulf. There are plenty of unique shops including art galleries and antiques. Sarasota if full of culture....about a 45 minute drive, there is the Ringling Museum, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, the Mote Marine Aquarium (world renowned ocean/science center), and much more. Disney World, Orlando is just about a 2 hour drive. Drive south through beautiful Longboat Key, and you'll reach St. Armand's Circle, on Lido Key.....abundant with outdoor cafes and quaint boutique shops. A shopping experience you will never forget.
