The Haia family was one of the first Hawaiian families to settle in Hana Maui. This property has been in our family since before property ownership was something recorded on paper. Tutu's House was originally built in the mid 1800's but has since been refurbished. We have tried to restore much of it's original plantation style charm. The Hana cultural center (museum)is located across the street and was founded by our family matriarch Babes Hanchett.
This property has been in the family for many generations. It's unique location on Hana Bay makes it a desired rental property.
Property Activities
The sound of the ocean is very relaxing. Hana Bay is just footsteps away where you can beachcomb, swim, fish, kayak, and snorkel. The property is full of tropical fruit trees including, mango, bananas, lime, mountain apple and jackfruit. Fragrant ginger, plumeria, and laua'e fern create a calming atmosphere.
