Nestled on the southwestern slopes of Mt. Mauna Loa, amidst its own beautifully landscaped 1.2 acres, Hale Ke'ei Lani is an oasis of privacy, peace and tranquility.
This beautiful, two+ bedroom, two bath, custom built vacation rental home overlooks Kealakekua ("Pathway of the Gods") Bay, a marine preserve renowned for its exotic tropical fish, splendid corals, turtles and other aquatic wildlife. Only a short drive away the bay offers some of Hawaii's best snorkeling, kayaking and whale watching, plus the opportunity to swim and interact with the resident pod of spinner dolphins. Also nearby is the City of Refuge National Park - the most revered of old Hawaii's religious sites.
Hale Ke'ei Lani is located on the Big Island of Hawaii in the district of South Kona which is famous for its coffee plantations and macadamia nut orchards. While in close proximity to restaurants, markets and other amenities, and only 14 miles from the town of Kailua-Kona, South Kona has the feel of a tropical rural paradise. Mango, coffee, macadamia nut, banana, grapefruit, papaya and avocado trees ring the property and guests are invited to help themselves to whatever is in season.
The tastefully furnished Hale Ke'ei Lani features an Asian style floor plan, with shoji doors for privacy, open beamed ceilings, wrap around decks and magnificent views of Kona's famous sunsets. The home was designed to take full advantage of the prevailing breezes, with the ideal 900 foot elevation and excellent cross-ventilation ensuring year round comfort.
Additional Rate Information
$195 - $250 per night
$1,365 - 1,700 per week
Rates are based on occupancy, season and length of stay. Minimum stay is four (4) days and maximum number of guests is five, except by prior arrangement.
Full payment includes a refundable security deposit of $500, state taxes 11.42% and out-cleaning fee of $165.
A $500 deposit is required to hold the reservation. Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival date; cancellation with less than 60 days is subject to a $100 rebooking fee. Any refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival date will be based on ability to rebook to another party. The security deposit will be refunded a maximum of 14 days after departure.
Check in after 3 PM -- check out by 11 AM except by prior arrangement.
