The Sunrise tennis facility is located in the center of desert activity. Just 10 minutes from the world’s prestige shopping on EL PASEO . . . Ten minutes from the McCallum Theater featuring outstanding theater and art . . . just minutes from THE RIVER a shopping complex with boutique shops and an eclectic array of restaurants including The Cheesecake Factory, P. F. Chang's, Baja Fresh and The Yard House to mention a few. There is also a multiplex movie theatre and a Starbuck's.
The Club is also only minutes away from the pride of the valley -- the new Rancho Mirage Public Library located on Hwy. 111.
Sunrise Country Club boasts one of the most well established tennis clubs in the entire Palm Springs area. 27 years experience and still rated as the “best tennis program in the desert”.
Men, women - - young or old - - novice or expert - - you’ll find your comfort zone as a (player)(member) at Sunrise. Our Tennis Director, Phyllis Ivey has been with Sunrise for over 20 years. This season she will be assisted by Barbara Young, Marcia Ferris and Gaye Peterson.
Our Tennis Pro, Mike Fedderly is a ranked world class player. He has been a teaching pro since 1987 and has won 41 National Titles. Past Rankings: #3 in World and National Singles 2005; #1 in National and World Doubles 2005. Mike is the 2005 Grand Slam Doubles Winner!

Golf Course
Sunrise Country Club offers a highly rated par 64 Executive Golf Course designed by Ted Robinson. It is a challenging and beautifully maintained private course, owned by the members.
It is an ideal course for the seasoned golfers as well as for those just taking up the game.
Be as busy as you want to be with a large array of golfing activities for men and women.
Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is a warm, friendly place. On the upper level is the Dining Room, Lounge/Bar and Banquet Room. The lower level includes the Golf Pro Shop, Ladies and Men’s Locker Room, Cart Storage, Tennis Pro Shop and Grille with outside patio.
The Dining Room, Lounge/Bar overlook Hole #1 and Hole #18 of the beautifully manicured Golf Course. The Tennis Pro Shop and outside Grille Patio overlook the #1 Stadium Court.
A nearby building houses the Activity Center and Fitness Center.
The Activity Center is used by members year round for member functions and/or social meetings, such as the Sunrise Country Club Book Club which meets monthly (except in the summer) to discuss all forms of literature from Edgar Allen Poe to Mark Twain. The Activity Center is also used for Yoga Lessons, Art Classes, Bridge Lessons and Travel Series Nights.
The Activity Center is also used for the ubiquitous bridge players.
The Fitness Center has equipment for members to "keep in shape" with treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, various weight machines, etc. New sliding windows have recently been installed for members to bring a little more of the outside inside.
Our "Aquatic Exercise" ladies meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Clubhouse Pool.
Many exciting events are planned in the Clubhouse during the season, November
through May.

In addition to these events, the Golf Department hosts five Club Tournaments, the Men's Golf Association hosts two Member Guest Days. The Ladies Golf Association hosts three

The Tennis Department hosts their Annual Holiday Tournament and Dinner Dance, League Luncheons, Club Championships and outside BBQ's. They have also played host to special
Doubles Seminars and Exhibitions.
