Originally a medieval tower, the local farmers built a fabulous stone farmhouse over it in 1726. You can only imagine the views from this home, given that it was originally the spot for a watchtower. Today you can find peace and tranquility here as you gaze out on to the panoramic vista that includes the Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding valleys of orchards, olive groves and hills of evergreen forests of cypresses and pines. This peaceful ambiance creates a relaxing atmosphere suspended in time. The grounds around the house are just as peaceful, with lots of gardens, a spa cottage with dry sauna and gym and a swimming pool with some of the best views in Umbria. This is the perfect getaway for a group of family members or friends who want to enjoy small quaint villages and the quiet moments to recharge.

MAIN HOUSE
GROUND FLOOR
Enter in from the gardens to a spacious hallway that leads to a large living room that was once the area that housed the farm animals back in 1726. The original stone columns originally divided the horse stalls, and also used to support the second floor. It is now a cozy and inviting room with sofas and chairs center around a 15th century fireplace. The professional galley style kitchen can handle the creation of a gourmet meal for twelve easily and can be served in the adjacent dining room with antique wood table and chairs and a large picture window that seems to bring the outdoors inside. On the northeast side of the house is a double bedroom with en suite bath.
FIRST FLOOR
A beautiful ancient stone staircase leads to a library room with many books written in English and a satellite TV. Further on are the bedrooms; two large double rooms each with their own en suite bathroom and further on is the master suite, a queen bedroom with a large bathroom with shower and tub.
THE COTTAGE
Below the main house, is a lovely little cottage. The highlight of this cottage is the extremely large picture window in the living room that frames a spectacular view of the lake. A stone fireplace gives the room a warmth feeling, even when not lit. Adjacent to the living room and the small kitchen is a large double bedroom and a second, smaller double bedroom, each again with their own en suite bathroom for complete privacy.
THE SAUNA AND GYM CABANA
Not far from the 40 foot x 20 foot swimming pool you have a short path that leads to a charming wooden cabin that houses a Swedish dry sauna and a small gymnasium. There is an outside solar shower.
THE GARDENS
French Doors lead onto a patio and the many outdoor dining areas that have been restored using stone from the medieval roads near Assisi. The spacious veranda is an ideal place to eat outside while enjoying the view of the lake and your tranquil surroundings.
