Location: Babble-On is located on a redwood-forested hillside overlooking a sparkling winter creek. Redwood-forested mountains are visible from every window and, winter through late spring, the sound of the creek babbles in the background. There are tennis courts and a playground a short drive away. The golf course is a few minutes west. Downtown Guerneville, with its shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, is two miles east. The Pacific Coast is a 20 minutes drive.
House: Babble-On is a shingled Craftsman-style home, completely re-modeled and decorated with a great combination of contemporary and antique. A few steps lead to a front porch that wraps around the house to a deck overlooking the creek. The entire home has hardwood floors and incredible views from every window. The living room is furnished with a leather couch and chairs, a 42" HD flat-screen TV with cable reception and DVD, and gas fireplace. There's a desk and chair set into a bay window that looks out into the woods. A sliding glass door opens to the deck. The eat-in kitchen has a gas stove and a very comfortable dining set for four. The two bedrooms sleep 4, one with queen bed, the other with a double bed; each has its own 19" flat-screen cable TV and view of the forested hillside. The bathroom has an oversized shower.
Grounds: Babble-On is a hillside home with a lovely view of the redwood forest and the winter creek. There's a charming garden at the front of the house, along with a hot tub right off the front porch, and an outdoor fireplace. The wrap-around deck overlooks the creek and features a gas grill, dining set for four, and loungers under the redwoods.
