Come enjoy your vacation at this newly renovated and designer-decorated, gorgeous, ocean view vacation rental condo, 200 feet from miles and miles of white sand beaches. This upstairs condo comes with almost everything you could need, including a fireplace, washer/dryer, and towels/chairs for the beach. Enjoy swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, fishing, jogging, sunbathing, people watching and long romantic walks on the beach at sunset. World famous golf courses such as Aviara, La Costa and Torrey Pines are minutes away.
We're right on the route of the San Diego Marathon and Carlsbad 5000. You can walk to dining, shopping, coffee houses, antiquing, entertainment, and a commuter train station to San Diego and Orange County (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, etc.) Legoland is 5 minutes away, and of course, there's also Sea World and the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. The weather is pleasant year-round, and we especially welcome snowbirds.

NOTE: Carlsbad is on a bluff above the ocean, so there are no "sitting on the sand" ocean front homes. We are across the street from the sea wall and staircase pictured in the beach photo.

Thanks and we REALLY had a wonderful time. We especially appreciated the relaxed ambiance of your condo – we felt at home. We have stayed in plenty of condos over the years and I really can’t think of anything that would have added to our stay. I think my husband would say WIFI, especially because he was not able to even connect up in town. I was glad to have more time with him!
Could you tell me what kind of bed was in the Master bedroom? I slept so well and my shoulders were never sore – we are going to be buying a new mattress soon, and since I’ve had a “trial” run on yours, I thought I would try to find out the manufacturer from you.

Dear Rick, We had a great time at your condo. It was in a perfect location for us, my son was able to drive to his work from there when he had to go in and they were able to be with us for most of the time. We loved walking the baby everyday into town for coffee and scones! Thanks again, it all went smoothly. We would definitely rent again. We'd really love to rent your Hawaii condo but while we have the baby in San Diego we'll probably come back there for awhile. Thanks again. Marylove

We LOVED your condo and will, for sure, be interested in renting it again and possibly the Kauai condos as well. Your web sites are very accurate and we had no disappointments at all...everything was so clean, beautifully decorated and complete. The Carlsbad location is perfect for beach lovers and a bonus to be away from the heavy street traffic yet able to hear the ocean and enjoy the boardwalk. I have referred several people to the web site VBRO where I found you and will now recommend your web site as well, especially for those interested in the San Diego area.
We are anticipating a Hawaii family reunion in the next two years, so your condos look inviting for accommodating more of our family.

Thanks so much. I've been meaning to tell you how much we enjoyed the condo! It was probably the best sleeping I've done on vacation . The beach was great, and we found everything we needed.
It was a bit rushed, not enough down time...my only complaint. But the kids wouldn't have had it any other way! Take care, and I'll be sure to save your e-mail. We have some friends in Kuai right now vacationing, I thought maybe they were staying in your condo...the Scardachi's.

Sorry I am just responding to your card. I have been traveling back east and just arrived home very late last night.
Thank you for a lovely place to stay in Carlsbad, we enjoyed it very much. Your place is centrally located, clean and neat and so very close to the beach.
My son is all tucked away in the Army and Navy Academy and seems to be enjoying it very much. The first three weeks of a six-hour day water polo was a little much, but he survived.

Hi you two!
We loved your condo. It was our very best vacation ever. We cooked for our son and his roomate every night. As long as you asked what would make our stay better.... I guess it's ok to tell you. We would have loved to have a spatuala and a collander (for draining spaghetti) You asked, right? Ken is a wonderful cook! We bought a spatula and gave it to Nick when we left. We'll be back to cook for Thanksgiving......... but we plan to buy lots of disposable things for the kitchen. Anyhow, it was a home away from home for sure. Thanks for everything. It was a wonderful week.
We did use your recommendations. Vera Cruz Fish House (was that what it was called?) was so good! We bought 4 extra loaves of bread.... cooked 3 at the condo and brought one home in our suitcase! Dini's by the Sea was a great bar. We visited it every night actually. Never ate at the restaurant but loved the bar and appetizers. The beach was divine! I have an awesome sunset picture with surfers as my desktop picture to remind me of our trip.
Thanks again! Hawaii sounds good. Maybe soon? Your condos there look absolutely fabulous. Looking forward to November in Carlsbad.
