For a marvelous Maui vacation come stay in our classic Hawaii pineapple plantation home or in one of our four carefully renovated cottages. Take a break and swim in our private pool, relax in the Jacuzzi or just stroll around on our two beautifully landscaped acres in upcountry Maui, near the historic Hawaiian towns of Paia and Makawao. Our wonderfully peaceful property boasts awesome ocean views, a convenient central location and provides a genuine taste of the real up-country Maui.
Plantation House:
Nestled under exotic banyan and monkeypod trees, rests the (2 to 4) bedroom, (2 to 4) bath historic plantation house known as the Banyan Tree House. A quality Maui vacation rental, our vacation rental guests enjoy a formal dining room, living room and restaurant quality kitchen.
Furnished in traditional island style furniture, the living room, formal dining room and bedrooms will give you the flavor of old Hawaii. Our quality Maui rental has expansive views down to the ocean and across the valley to the west Maui Mountains. Pick your own fruit in season and enjoy our two acre garden with its big tree swings and hammocks.
The banyan Tree House has a huge swimming pool and Jacuzzi for the exclusive use of our guests.
Each bedroom is wonderfully furnished and comfortable with its own private bathroom with either shower or bathtub. The bedrooms and living room are decorated with the paintings of Suzy Papanikolas, a local Hawaiian artist.
Located on the slopes of Haleakala overlooking the famous North Shore, The Banyan Tree House is very peaceful with spacious grounds and large banyan and monkeypod trees.
The Banyan Tree House is only a short walk to the historic cowboy town of Makawao, where you can find many fine restaurants and shops. In the surrounding hills you have the finest hiking, biking and horseback riding on the island. There are two golf courses in the area. Telephone, fax, wireless internet and laundry facilities included on the premises.
All Banyan Tree House cottages have private bathrooms, phones and coffee in every room. We have laundry facilities for your use. All cottage guests have use of our swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Pick your own fruit in season and enjoy our two acre garden with ocean views, big tree swings and hammocks.
The Hibiscus cottage (A) is a large and sunny cottage furnished in traditional island furniture with 2 queen sized beds, private bath and phone.
Gardenia Cottage (B) has a full kitchen and garden lanai. Queen and single sized beds. Private bath and phone.
Plumeria Cottage (C) has a pleasant view of the Banyan tree and gardens. Queen and single bed, private bath and phone.
Ginger Cottage (D) has a queen and single bed and a sunny window sitting room.
Private bath and phone.
The Bamboo Suite. Has a queen and single bed, private bath, kitchenette and phone. Located near the pool on the sunny side of the house.
The Banyan Suite. Has a queen and single bed, private bath, kitchenette and phone. Located quiet, shady side of the house.

All room rates are based on double occupancy. Add $30 for each guest over 2 people per room. There is a 11.42% Hawaii State Room Tax. Payments by cash, check or credit card.
3 Night Minimum stay for the Plantation House.
The cleaning fee for the Plantation House is $200.
The winter holiday season is from Dec. 20 through Jan. 05: There is a20% special holiday surcharge on all rooms during this time.
Cancellations:
More than 60 days before reservation date, refund is subject to a 15% charge.
Less than 60 days before reservation date, refund is subject to an 85% charge if room is not rebooked.

The crater floor is a unique environment, one of constant change. Haleakala has thirty-two miles of hiking trails, two campsites, and three cabins providing fantastic opportunities for hiking and exploring. Sunrise is legendary!
The Banyan Tree House is a great base from which to explore Haleakala.
Makawao and Paia are old historic cowboy towns located in upcountry Maui close to the Banyan Tree House. They are fun to explore with many fine stores and restaurants. |
