Our family gathering was great - house was comfortable and roomy enough for all 12 of us. House supply was more than adequate. Short walk to the beach even for the 8 year old down to the 2 year old. Dual outside shower's were a hit. Pool was a hit - Beach and low tide with lifeguard was great for the little ones. Even surfing was great - Only downfold was did not look like the place was vacuum before arrival dog hair everywhere even on bedspread - had to wash then, rolling dust balls everywhere - again had to vacuum. but that was okay as the house itself was fabulous. would rent again and again

We arrived for our one week vacation stay and the house looked just as the pictures portrayed. It was clean, organized and well equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were great sizes and worked very well for our multi family setup. The pool area was great, the street was quiet we found places to walk our dogs and overall had a relaxing and wonderful experience. The only feedback I have is to add a couple box/ floor fans as the two smaller rooms did not have a lot of air circulation and seemed to stay warmer than the rest of the house. Thankfully those rooms had kids staying in them which didn’t seem to notice as much.
I definitely recommend this house and would stay there again!!

The walk to the beach is advertised as 50-100 yards, when in actuality it is 250-300 yards - a big difference when you have 2 small kids. Overall it's a great location, and the interior of the house was great. The pool and grilling areas were enjoyed as well. As for the service, the house was not ready until after 5pm, and when we got there after being notified it was ready, it had not been cleaned and we had to wait another hour. We found 4-5 maintenance items and notified them Sunday, but no one came out to repair (we notified them daily) until Thursday. That was disappointing, but the stay was still a good one.

Beach Dreams is the best vacation home we have stayed in. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The pool was very clean and so relaxing. My only suggestion would be to remove the carpet in the main room and install laminate or ceramic tile. The steps up to the main floor were a little tricky because of a curve. Overall a fantastic beach home.

Beach Dreams was a short walk to the beach and the outdoor space was great. Loved the shaded picnic bench area by the pool. We spent most of our time outside. Lots of deck space for our teenagers to lounge on when we were not on the beach or in the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

The house fit our needs well. Large top floor gathering space was great as we had a large group. It was very hot in OBX the week we stayed (heat index in low 100's a few days). The A/C was set at 70 degrees but typically that top floor at the height of the day & early evening was reading 79/80 degrees. Middle floor, where all but one BR was located was very cool. Pool area is very nice/large with plenty of lounge chairs. Two gas grills came in handy as we used them to cook dinner twice during the week. There was a charcoal grill also but we didn't use it. The condition of the home was good and cleanliness was good as well. A direct and short walk to the beach access was nice. Location is across NC Route 12 from the Harris Teeter shopping center so access to groceries, Duck Donuts, Starbucks was an easy walk (0.5 miles walk). I would recommend the home for vacationers in OBX.

We loved the house and the pool. Our only complaint was the stairs. As the stairs turned, the landing was too narrow. We wondered how this was acceptable for building codes? Although we loved everything else, we're not sure we would book again due to the stairs. An elevator would make it an easy decision.

The house was really nice with a great outdoor area and pool. The only downside was that we went in mid-June when the weather wasn't as hot and the pool isn't heated. Otherwise, the location is great along with all of the amenities. I would definitely recommend renting this house for a family vacation.

Beach Dreams is an awesome house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed all the indemnities this home offers. It was very comfortable. The pool area is
very nice and was our favorite. Only downfall is there is no option to heat the pool. We were there when the weather was a little cool in June. It would have been nice to have a heated pool. Other than that, I would rent again and would recommend this home.

Excellent. The overall comfort and experience at Beach Dreams was great and enjoyed by our entire family. The design of the house and positioning of the rooms were perfect. Loved the sliding door access to the decks and pool from all rooms on all levels. The size of the pool was a great plus and the amenities inside and outside the house were spot on and responsive to our families needs.
The only drawback was the inaccuracy of the distance to the beach. Wasn’t’t bad but was a 200 yard flat walk and the steps leading up and over the dunes were steep. Just EHD to call it like it is. You deal with it each day.

Vacation was very relaxing and the house was great. Everything was clean and in good working condition. Pool was great and the house is just a few steps away from the beach, which was never crowded. Definitely recommend the outer banks if you want to relax with friends and family.

The pictures represented this property well. Communication from the staff was appropriate and well timed. Our welcome sand bucket included birthday candles for the "responsible" person on the contract-an extra special touch. The water temps for two of the showers didn't work when we arrived but management got it corrected quickly. Plenty of seating to enjoy the pool area and both decks (would suggest adding a gate to the first floor deck on the street side). So great to have the extra refrigerator in the sun room! Everyone wants to visit again!!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home. In fact, we all agreed it was the best home yet we have rented in OBX. We do hope to be able to return again.

One thing though, we called Beach Realty to report that the lighting fixture from the ceiling in the back bedroom on the 2nd floor would not work. There was an exposed light bulb only, no fixture and it flickered from time to time. We reported it twice upon arrival and were told someone would be out, however, no one ever showed the entire week. This would not have been a problem had there been another lamp or something in this bedroom. That was the sole lighting for the room. Kind of disappointed with the repair service and the lack of no one calling back and checking on the call.

The house was great. We've been coming to the outer banks for almost 30 years and this is the first house that we all agreed we could see ourselves booking again. The owners have done a great job updating the house over the years, their care really shows.

was very please with the house. Great walking distance to the beach. Nice to see all the upgrades new floors, sheets, add refrigerator in small tv room. Would be nice to see updating the master bathroom next year. We love the Beach Dreams stay!

Stayed for two weeks. Nice house. Dog friendly. Would not recommend for older dogs with hip issues; lots of stairs! Nice decks. Great location to beach but again beach access not handicap accessible- lots of stairs to climb there too.

This home was everything that I expected it to be and more! Loved the spacious pool area. Hot tub was a hit! A short walk to the beach was great as well. The kitchen was stocked as if you were home, everything there that you would need! Overall, my family had a fabulous time (even with hurricane Irma lurking). Close to everything.

We arrived a little early to the 4pm check in time but soon got a call saying our house was ready, we opened the door with the access code emailed to me to find a very clean and well equipped house. There were clean towels in plastic bags in each room, a log book or previous improvements to the home, and a very well kept pool and hot tub. It is exactly 240 steps from the house to the sand as one of our guests counted. Overall I / we were very happy with the house and its location.

Enjoyed every part of this vacation home, from the location with proximity to the beach and also to local shopping, etc. The new pool area is awesome! I would highly recommend and would return, except for the fact it will be pet friendly starting Aug 2017. Our family members have a lot of allergies, so unfortunately, we won't be able to return. Would have definitely re booked for next year!

Beach dreams equaled or exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was an extremely clean and well maintained property, with everything provided you could need. Had a lovely vacation and house was great. Kids loved the pool and close walk to beach. I have two young children and unfortunately this house is more for adults rather then kid proofed. Also, the AC units had trouble keeping top level cool.

There has been new pool gates installed at the property for the safety of all young guests. The upper level AC as also been replaced with a brand new unit and should not have any issues cooling at all going further. We appreciate the feedback!

Beach Dreams was the perfect house for us. We had 9 people, 3 of which were kids (ages 8, 6 & 3). Our 3 boys loved their "kids room" with the bunk beds/trundle. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked with more than you could ever need. It would be nice to have a list of all items in the kitchen (we brought items that were already stocked in the kitchen since we didn't know). The beds, couches & chairs were all very comfortable. The house was very clean upon our arrival, all we had to do was make our beds (our choice) & unpack...then have a great time making memories! The carpet may be nearing the end of its lifespan or merely needs stretched, but I was comfortable leaving my kids lounge around on the floor. Having a pool at the house was an especially nice feature for the boys in the morning before going to the beach and again after they got the sand showered off in the 2 outdoor showers. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the location couldn't be beat; maybe a 2 minute walk to the beach (5 minutes if you are a really slow walker). Close proximity to the beach is something I always look for and this house hit all the things we needed! We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning again next year!!

Absolutely wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked, the proximity to the beach is fabulous, and the property is well maintained. I would mention that it isn't very kid friendly for little ones. For example, there are lots of breakable knick knacks around the house, there is no gate from the deck leading to the pool area, and the top floor deck has wrap around bench seating without a safety rail.
