Welcome to Stone Ridge Lodge!
Stone Ridge Lodge is a stunning mountainside home, with custom furniture and finishes. It is located just minutes from downtown Blowing rock and Boone. This makes it a convenient and ideal location near attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Banner Elk and Valle Crucis are both less than fifteen (15) miles apart. Stoneridge Lodge also has nearby attractions such as Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railway (about 8 miles), Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Ski Beech (about 15 miles), Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines, (about 11 miles), Watauga lake (less that 30 miles), Linville Caverns and Linville Falls. Stone Ridge Lodge is less than six miles from the Watauga Lake, Trout Lake and Bass Lake!
Stone Ridge Lodge is charming as soon as you pull up to the circular, paved driveway. The front of the property has woods and shrubs surrounding it, giving a sense of privacy. The guests have access to a detached two-car parking garage and the grounds. These include rock outcroppings and amazing views of the mountains from a distance. There is also a wood-burning fireplace. The house features three levels of covered decks at the rear, which enhances the outdoor experience. The main deck is the top-level deck. It has a gas barbecue, outdoor dining and lounge furnishings, and a gas grill. The middle-level deck offers more outdoor space to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting and views. The lower deck has a 6-person spa and access to both the side and back of the property.
The great room is accessed through the front door. It features cathedral ceilings, leather furnishings, a large stone fire place with gas logs and an HD Smart TV. There is also a bar. The central dining room with a banquet style table that can seat up to 12 guests is open to the great-room, as is the kitchen, which has granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless appliances. A wall of windows with long-range views surrounds the entire space.
Two king-sized suites are located on the upper level of the main building. Each has a private bathroom and an HDTV mounted on the wall. The rest of the bedrooms are located on the next level. On the view-side of the house, there is a king-size bedroom with a twin-over full bunk bed. This bedroom has a Jack and Jill bathroom with a hallway access. The other king-sized suite comes with an ensuite bathroom, a wall mounted HDTV and a separate bathroom. The fifth bedroom, which has a king-sized bed, twin day beds, a wall mounted HDTV and an ensuite bathroom, also features a king-sized bed, twin day beds, a HDTV on the wall, and a bathroom. This suite has a side exterior door that leads to the wraparound terrace on that level.
On the middle level, there is also a family area with a HD Smart TV and leather furniture. The sliding glass doors are oversized and reveal the view. They lead to the rear deck. The lower level has a game room that includes a shuffleboard and a counter-height dining table for six people. A large HD Smart TV is mounted on the wall, and there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The 6-person hot-tub is located on the lower rear deck, which can be accessed by walking out of the game area.
The amenities and comforts of Stone Ridge Lodge include central heat and air-conditioning, a total seven (7) HD Smart TVs, Digital Cable programming, BluRay and DVD Player and WiFi Internet. There is also a shuffleboard table, an outdoor picnic area with a wood-burning fireplace, an indoor gas log fire place, an outdoor gas grill, and a dining table and outdoor dining table located on the top-level rear deck.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
