Welcome to Speckles!
 
Speckles is an adorable rustic log cabin located in the small community of Todd between Boone, NC and West Jefferson, NC. It's conveniently close to both. The rustic cabin has three levels with multiple living and entertaining spaces and sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests.  
The main floor has an open floorplan, with a beautifully updated Kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters, and a large island bar top with six bar stool seats. The Dining area is adjacent to the Kitchen and has a farm-style table that seats six more people, allowing for a total of 12 people to dine. The open Great Room features wood floors, rustic log wall, vaulted-ceilings, comfortable furniture, and a dramatic floor to ceiling stone wood-burning fire place.  
On the large open patio you will find a brand new hot tub, a gas barbecue, and plenty of outdoor seating. The screened porch next to the patio has an outdoor dining area, comfortable outdoor seating and two fun suspended hammock chairs. The covered front porch has a porch swing, and a level entry to the main floor. The lower floor has a level entry. The wood-burning fireplace, a short walk from the front porch, offers pastoral mountain views and natural mountain surroundings. It also has Adirondack style armchair seating. Parking is available for many vehicles on the gravel driveway, which has parking at the entrance and a garage attached with a single car six steps from the front door.  
The main floor King bedroom has a HD Smart TV and a mountain view. The main level bathroom is adjacent to the King Bedroom. The bathroom has a granite vanity, His-and Hers double vessel sinks and a jetted tub. It also has a separate level entry shower and a private toilet.  
The sitting loft is upstairs, where you will find comfortable seating facing a wall of large windows that frame the best mountain views of the house. The loft is the perfect place to relax, read, and take in the beauty of our High Country. On the upper level, there are also two additional bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub and shower. The upper King bedroom has vaulted ceilings with mountain views and an HD Smart TV. It also includes a single sleeper couch for additional sleeping space. The upper Queen bedroom has a twin bed for extra sleeping space, mountain views and an HD Smart television.  
The lower level has a large Family Room with a stone gas fireplace, a HD Smart TV and comfortable furniture. There are chairs and a table for playing board games, jigsaws, or cards. There is also a bunk-bed nook with a Twin over Full bunkbed. The sofa can be opened up to become a full-sized bed. The lower-level family area has access to the attached one-car garage and half-bathroom, as well as a laundry room with a washer/dryer.  
Speckles has more features and amenities that guests will love! Central Heat and Air Conditioning ensure year-round comfort. All 5 HD Smart TVs have digital streaming TV and High-Speed WiFi internet. If you would like to bring your dog, we will consider it! Only dogs, maximum 2 per reservation. Standard pet fees and rules are applicable.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
