Property Description

Renaissance Lodge is a beautiful home located in Blowing rock. It has over 7,300 square foot of space, which can accommodate up to 29 people. This 3-level home has 7 sleeping areas, 7 bathrooms and is conveniently located near all the attractions and activities the High Country offers. Just 2 miles away, the Blue Ridge Parkway offers a variety of hiking options in Julian Price Memorial Park and Moses Cone Memorial Park. Grandfather Mountain State Park, with its famous Profile trails, is only 30 minutes away. Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park can be reached in just 6 minutes. The spacious decks of Renaissance Lodge allow you to see Tweetsie's Holiday Fireworks display up close. Appalachian Ski Resort, a fun destination for any season, is only a 2-minute drive away. The cabin offers breathtaking views of the mountains and sunrises.


This lodge has two living rooms, two kitchens and two gas grills - one on each of two spacious decks - as well as a hot tub. The second entrance to a mudroom includes a ski rack that can be used to store winter snow gear. The elevator on all three levels makes it easy to transport luggage to and from each floor. The cabin has a pool table and ping-pong tables, as well as an arcade game.


The main floor features a living area with leather sofas, a gas log fireplace made of stacked stone, and a large flat-screen mounted TV. The living room flows seamlessly into the well-stocked kitchen on the main level. The dining table can seat 6, and the breakfast table on the opposite side of the kitchen can seat 8. On the main floor, seating for 17 is possible if you include the three bar stools in the kitchen. The main deck is covered and has two picnic tables with a gas grill. There are also wooden Adirondack chair to enjoy the view. The second entrance is located to the left of the main floor. It's a spacious mudroom, complete with a ski rack. A porch with windows surrounds the enclosed mudroom. This porch has a ping-pong table, a mini fridge, a TV, and access to the deck. Above the ping-pong room, there is a sleeping loft that has two twin-size bunk beds. This space is heated by wall-mounted heaters.


Three bedrooms are located on the main floor, including a spacious master suite with a stacked-stone electric fireplace, TV and a spacious bathroom. This main floor master bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe with a window and a Pack-and Play. It is large enough for small children to sleep in. The king suite has a deck with wooden seats, which is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. The second king-sized suite on the main floor also has a TV and an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom on the main level has a TV and a queen-sized bed. There is also a bathroom in the hallway next door.


The master suite is located on the upper level. This king-sized suite is spacious and luxurious. The king-sized bed is elevated on a platform that offers sunrise views. The suite features a spacious ensuite bathroom, a lounge area with a TV and fireplace, a kitchenette and a quiet desk. The walk-in closet of the master suite is large enough to be used as a crib for a child. There is also a bunk bed with a twin over full and twin over twin bunk, and a bedroom that has two queen beds. These rooms have a bean bag bed that can be converted into two additional sleeping options for children. Four twin rollouts can be stored in a large closet located upstairs. The beds can be moved easily with the elevator and there is plenty of room in the house. The bunk room has a full bathroom that can be shared with guests in the queen-sized bedroom.


The lower level has a pool table, a Mrs. Pac-Man 10-in-1 arcade game, and an NBA Jam four-player arcade game. The lower level includes a pool-table, a Mrs. Pac-Man 10 in 1 arcade game, and a NBA Jam 4-player arcade game. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace are located on the lower-level deck. This deck, with its two porch swings, more wooden Adirondack chair and benches and the backdrop of long-range mountain views, is enjoyed year-round. The lower-level king bedroom suite has a deck, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The two sofas on the lower level are full-size couches that can be converted into two additional sleeping spaces. There is a full bathroom in the hallway.


The Renaissance Lodge is the perfect place for large groups, including family reunions, friends, and holiday parties. There is ample space to gather with friends or family or to find a quiet place to do work or enjoy yourself. The home is equipped with high-speed internet, and mesh routers are placed throughout the house to provide a strong signal in all areas of the house. This allows for multiple devices to be used. Two washer and dryer sets make it easy to do laundry or dry winter gear for large groups. The timber-framed porte cochere and level gravel driveway make loading and unloading easy. Parking is possible for six cars. The Renaissance Lodge does not allow pets.
