Altitude Adjustment, Blowing Rock is conveniently located at Appalachian Ski Mountain. The family-friendly resort with its slopes and ice rink is only a half mile away. Downtown Blowing Rock is centrally located in the High Country and offers a variety of activities, including shopping, dining, and restaurants. You'll find the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad (downtown Boone), High Gravity Adventures, and Appalachian State University within five miles. Altitude Adjustment has an open-plan layout on two levels. It has high ceilings with exposed beams and bright wood walls. The living room has a wall of large windows that let in natural light and a stone gas fireplace. This is the perfect place to relax after an exhausting day on the slopes. The large leather sectional has plenty of seating, and two electric recliners. The arcade game is popular with children and has 400 games. The farmhouse table can seat six people and the kitchen peninsula can accommodate three more. The large deck that spans across the entire house offers stunning views of the mountain range. Relax in the hot tub that can accommodate seven people while listening to the sounds of nature. The vaulted ceilings extend to the main-level master suite. This suite has a king sized bed, dual wardrobes, a private bathroom with dual rainheads and a large shower. The suite also has access to the deck, laundry and the main floor. The main floor has a second bedroom with a king-sized bed. The spiral staircase will take you to the top floor where there is a sleeping area with twin bunkbeds and a queen-sized mattress, as well as a private bathroom. WiFi and smart TVs are also included as additional amenities. A large yard is available with an outdoor fire pit. Two dogs are subject to additional fees. The gravel driveway is level and there are no steps leading to the front door. This makes loading and unloading easy. Winter travelers may want to consider AWD or 4WD.
