Hawks Terrace – This beautifully appointed cabin at Riverbend, Lake Lure, is a perfect example of the word "lovely"! Hawks Terrace is perfect for couples, small groups of friends, and families. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms to accommodate four people. You'll feel the warmth of the wood floors, walls and ceilings the moment you enter. The golden-timber shades provide a neutral backdrop for the eclectic, colorful furniture, doors and accent pieces. The kitchen is well-equipped and comfortable for culinary pursuits. The vaulted ceilings in the living and dining rooms allow for easy flow and movement. The seating is designed to be super comfortable for a fun time with family and friends. A large, beautiful enclosed porch expands the living space. There is a large open deck with mountain view in winter, a cool vibe of a treehouse in spring, and an aerial view of autumn leaves during fall. The porch is spacious and has plenty of charm. It also features ample seating, a child safety gate, and a locking-door for added security during those spontaneous snooze sessions. The spacious deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors in the milder months of the year. The cabin is located on 3 acres so you can have a private and relaxing vacation. Hawks Terrace offers a fireplace, a foosball, internet-based TV in each room, DVD Players, ambiance and entertainment. Fitness enthusiasts will be pleased to find an exercise bike! Hawks Terrace is a gated community located in Lake Lure. It boasts beautiful community amenities, such as the beach on Mirror Lake, a wide river with a breathtaking view, and a hiking trail leading to a stunning waterfall. This home comes with a boat to enjoy Mirror Lake. Ingles supermarkets, attractions, and restaurants are all within 5 miles. The entrance to Riverbend is located conveniently off Hwy 64, which means Hawks Terrace. You can easily commute between day trips that take you to Rutherfordton, Hendersonville or the Asheville Area. Riverbend is home to two private lakes, sandy beaches, the Broad River and an outdoor pavilion that can be used for family fun and community events. Riverbend is home to a nature trail that follows the Broad River. "This pristine area is home to diverse flora, fauna and birds." Deer, groundhogs and bears are often seen on the property. Wild turkeys, beavers, and wild turkeys are also common. Riverbend is a nature lover's dream. It offers kayaking, fishing, and canoeing. Nearby, you can enjoy golfing and horseback-riding. Hawks Terrace is close to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as Chimney Rock. Hawks Terrace's entire rustic package is delightful!

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

Parking for two vehicles.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
