Oktoberfest on Larimer Square, is now one of the largest celebrations of its type in the nation. This event is guaranteed to put an oom-pah in your weekend. The first official keg of German bier, a wooden keg of Paulaner Oktoberfest bier, gets tapped in customary style with a hammer and stake to get the weekend festivities underway. More than 100 accordion players, ranging in age from 5 to 75, gather on the Square for one of the world’s largest accordion concerts, where dancing, cheers and good times begin. Weekends Only.
