Property Description

The Wayside Cabin is a cozy, comfortable family cabin near the Sandlake Dunes and estuary just 4 miles from Pacific City beach. It is an easy home base for many nearby hikes and adventures like Whalen Island Park, Cape Lookout & Sitka Sedge. This home is nicely furnished for a family with a kids playroom, lots of games and toys and a nice back yard. The home does border Sandlake road which is not a highway but is a main road through the area. A dog is allowed but shouldn't be let out without a leash.

Layout:

Single level home. Living room, dining area and kitchen. Separate den/kids playroom. Full hall bath. Bedroom with queen bed. Bedroom with 2 twin beds. Detached garage not fully available but has storage room and outside 1/2 bath. Parking for 3 cars. Laundry facilities in the garage, family room has a desk with monitor, and the couch in living room turns into a double size bed.

Location:

This home is bordering the Sandlake estuary providing peaceful water & wildlife views (not water access from property). It is 4 miles to Pacific City, 1/2 mile to Sitka Sedge state park, and very near the Sandlake Dunes recreation area. The nearest beach access is nearby at Tierra Del Mar. This is on the Tillamook Scenic byway leading to Cape Lookout, Netarts and Oceanside.
Guests will check in at our local, convenient office in Pacific City. After hours arrivals will be accommodated.

This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night . Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).
