Upon arrival, you enter a lush tropical environment surrounded by the elegance of a resort with amenities to make your vacation an unforgettable experience. With the splendor of the setting, relaxation at the large infinity pool, play time on the warm sands of Anaehoomalu Beach (A’Bay), shopping in Queens Marketplace, dining at Lava Lava Beach Club, and exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, your stay will leave you filled with warm lifetime memories.

Kolea Villas is in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort in a truly beach front setting on A’Bay.  Two open air shopping malls, the Kings Shops and Queens Shops, two championship golf courses, and ancient petroglyphs trails are within walking distance. The Waikoloa Beach Marriott and Hilton Waikoloa Village are on either side of Kolea with A’Bay directly in front.

Our quiet villa is a beautifully decorated, fully air conditioned two-bedroom two-bath unit on the second floor of Building 16 within the Kolea complex. The villa is accessible by stairs or elevator directly from the adjoining covered carport.  While located in a quiet secluded area, the villa is a short walk to the pool, beach, or adjoining Marriott Beach Resort complex.

The interior is finished with superior architectural features including engineered wood floors, beautiful travertine tiled bathrooms/common areas, and carpeted bedrooms. The décor has an inviting atmosphere featuring soft pastel colors and decorated with Hawaiian themed art to exude an inviting spirit.

The stocked kitchen has all stainless-steel appliances and gorgeous granite countertops. Recessed lighting and pendant lights elegantly brighten the kitchen and bar area.  Comfortable family dining is provided around a huge beveled glass dining table. Wooden saddle stools offer additional seating at the kitchen bar.

The living area is furnished with a sectional and a large flat screen television mounted in the corner offers DVD playing capabilities. WiFi and cable TV are provided for your entertainment along with phone services for calls locally, to the mainland or to Canada.

The large tiled lanai is equipped with a stainless-steel barbecue grill, hood and sink, all exquisitely set in teak cabinetry and granite. Outdoor seating for four in a relaxing natural setting provides the perfect venue to grill and enjoy the tropical climate with nearby chilled refreshments in the outdoor fridge.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed, television with a built in DVD player, desk and an oversized cushion armchair with ottoman. The paintings in this room tell stories of old Hawai'i, and the wooden drawers of a tall dresser displays beautifully carved out coconut trees. The master bathroom has a deep soaking tub, double vanities and a walk-in shower all set in golden tones of natural stone.

The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed with two nightstands, a hardwood dresser, and a television with a built in DVD player. A sliding mahogany door connects this room to the guest bath where a tub shower and dual vanities are designed in travertine.

All guests of Kolea have access to the Kolea Beach Club. This private club offers direct beach access to A’Bay and amenities for everyone including access to the ancient paths of Ala Kahakai, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, peddle boating, and boat tours. The infinity pool has comfortable cushioned lounge chairs surrounding it. Enjoy the sounds of the waterfall at the sand bottom kids pool or enjoy overlooking the ocean and ancient Hawaiian ponds while relaxing in the lava rock Jacuzzi. The entrance of the Kolea Beach Club has a nice covered lounging area with couches. There is also an area with tables and chairs to dine at the Beach Club or to enjoy playing games. The open-air fitness hale features LifeFitness equipment.
