Located in the small and lushly landscaped Kona Isle complex, this 1 bedroom, 1 bath end unit is on the second floor of the highly desirable ocean front “E” building and offers stunning 180 degree ocean views from the lanai as well as breathtaking ocean views from the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.  And these aren’t just ordinary ocean views…you are truly ocean front.  There are no buildings blocking your view, you aren’t overlooking a parking lot, and there are no cars zooming by.  You’ll think you’ve found paradise as you relax on the lanai with your morning coffee while watching pods of spinner dolphins passing by just offshore or if in season, spotting the telltale spray from a great humpback whale surfacing for air.  In the evening, you’ll be spellbound by the brilliant Kona sunsets that paint the sky fiery reds before sinking below the horizon in a “green flash”.  And at night, you’ll be lulled to sleep by the sound of ocean waves and cool island breezes.

Freshly updated and decorated in a contemporary island palette, this condo features a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, built-in refrigerator, stacked washer and dryer, and garbage disposal.  A dinette is available for indoor dining.  The living area features a queen sleeper sofa with pillow-top mattress, rattan accent chairs, a flat screen television, and ceiling fan.  Wall-to-wall sliding doors lead out to the lanai which is outfitted with comfortable rockers and a table that will easily accommodate four.

The spacious and bright bedroom has a queen bed with quilted mattress topper, full closet with sliding mirrored doors, flat screen television, ceiling fan, berber carpeting, and a wall of windows which open to reveal a stunning ocean view that you can enjoy from the comfort of the bed.  The bright, airy bathroom has a walk-in shower that has been accented with hand-painted tiles & ceramic flooring.  Windows throughout the home are outfitted with custom wooden sliding shades that can be pulled shut for maximum light blockage. The bedroom does not have air-conditioning; AC in the living room only.

Kona Isle is situated in the heart of the Kona coast on the ocean side of Ali'i Drive about 1 1/2 miles from Kailua-Kona restaurants, shops and nightlife.  In addition to the pristine landscaping filled with hibiscus, banana trees, island palms, and other local flora, the complex offers a fresh-water swimming pool, and a private ocean front sandy area.  Both are equipped with lounge and beach chairs that offer unsurpassed opportunities for soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade of a palm tree with a good book.  Additionally, the complex maintains three built-in gas BBQs in a lighted, ocean front picnic area that provides a wonderful spot for watching the sunset with drink in hand and dinner on the grill.  

Minimum night varies seasonally 5 - 10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking and no pets allowed. $10 daily additional person fee applies to occupants over the standard occupancy of 2 guests.
