Beach Haven Destination, Travel Guide, and Vacation Rental Accommodations
					Beach Haven New Jersey
Beach Haven is an Ocean County borough in New Jersey, also famously known as the “Queen City” on the Long Beach Island. It is a home to an array of attractions such as Fantasy Island; the only amusement park on the island, Surflight Theatre, Showplace Ice Cream Parlour, Bay Village Shopping Center, Long Beach Island Museum and numerous unique shops and restaurants such as Tucker’s Restaurant, noted as the number one restaurant in the Long Beach island by Philadelphia Magazine. Originally, Beach Haven was built in the late 19th century as beach front resort that accommodated wealthy summer residents of Philadelphia in 1873. However, in the 1940’s major structures were lost in the storms including the Great Atlantic Hurricane of 1944, fortunately the large part of the town was able to retain its Victorian and Edwardian character.
