Visit the weekly farmer's markets or listen to live music at the "Music in the Mountains concert series" in the evening. In the opposite direction, Big Sky Resort offers a variety of summer activities such as zip-lining and high ropes courses.

In the winter you are only a 5-minute drive away from Big Sky Resort. This is the proud home to America's largest skiing. You can also access a large network cross-country skiing trails just outside your front door if downhill skiing is not your thing. Cross-country skiing is available directly below the driveway. Montana A/C is a good way to cool down the house during summer. It involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home. Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman AirportIt is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
