Property Information |
|
This 1500 sq/ft sparsely decorated vacation home has seen little use since it was completely renovated in 1998. Now its owner is offering it for rental to people other than friends and business acquaintances—-hence the completely open calendar.
Hard wood floors. Quality, tasteful furniture. But the walls are mostly bare. Minimalism and simplicity is the rule here.
This gated community—carefully maintained by an active Home Owners Association—is home to actual Scottsdale residents not tourists, hence all the friendly faces and the deadly quiet.
It offers an outdoor pool & Jacuzzi, recreational area (for outdoor gatherings), outdoor grill. The community's empty streets are ideal for walking and jogging anytime of the day or night, with spectacular views of the nearby mountains. Go past the gates and the opportunties for walking and exploring are limitless. Just across the street from gate sits a gorgeous tract with giant cacti. Walk through it and you'll hit civilization again within 10 minutes.
The area is homey and quiet and yet it is within walking distance to a luxury shopping mall, several fancy and casual restaurants (including a wonderful NY-style deli) and countless other shops at the corner of Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak Rd.
Proximity to the new 101 Fwy puts this area only 40 minutes from the airport, despite being on the northern (and far more quiet) end of Scottsdale.
There are special touches, like top of the line mattress in Master bedroom for people with sensitive backs. The property is kept meticulously free of dust, pets and smoke because of the owner’s allergies.
Small, shaded backyard with outdoor furniture is accessible through the Master bedroom.
Helpful, friendly rental manager lives only two doors down.

 | Testimonials |

"Everyone, from the manager to the neighbors, were so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to get invited again.” I.P. Freely, Highlands, NC.
“We thought we would spend most of our time in AZ driving around. Instead we ended up spending most of our time walking around the neighborhood and hiking the nearby mountains. Walking through the fields with the Cacti and all manner of plants is a treat that never gets old. You feel like you are in the wilderness, and suddenly you turn the corner and you’re walking up to Safeway for some fresh fruit or to the deli for those incredible bagels.” Nadius Maximos, Rome, Italy
"Friends joked that my parents would 'go postal' if they spent all their time at the house without a car. But they just loved it. They loved walking around and exploring the area or lay by the pool. How can you get tired of constant sun, dry air, mild temperatures [during winter] and spectacular mountains in the distance?" Suse Moosh, New Paltz, NY
