This Kamaina Family has a large home because we have many children and grand children who love to come visit us from time to time. Our home is situated on two acres of land about 2,500 feet high in Kula with an ocean to top of Haleakala view. Only 20 minutes to the airport or Kahului. This is the view as you enter the property; And this is the view of the house from its land below. The guest quarters are located on the lower left hand side next to an office and library, workout room, storage room and garage on the far lower right. We live on the upper level and on the far right is the Sun-Set Deck that visitors can also use.

In the Guest Quarters there is a King Size bed in a corner room with a closet that has a full length mirror and wonderful views to the ocean and Haleakala.

In the Guest Quarters there is a King Size bed in a corner room with a closet that has a full length mirror and wonderful views to the ocean and Haleakala.
It is located next to a bathroom with a combination tub/shower and a beautiful private outside shower for two that is made of lava rocks. Also available is a large counter, mirror, drawers, and a cabinet for towels, soap, etc.
Next to the shower is another bedroom with two twin beds, a huge mirror and plants and flowers on the outside of all the windows. A large closet with a full length mirror is also provided.
Under the staircase that leads upstairs, is a bed loved by the children and adults alike for the TV can be watched from there and it is very comfortable.

Inside, there is also a sink, a refrigerator, a large skillet, pots and pans, dishes and forks and knives, a hot plate, and a small round table with a couple of chairs that are made of coconut tree wood.
There is also a cooking niche which accommodates a toaster-oven, a coffee maker, a carving block, a microwave oven, and a cordless phone for local calls is also available
There is also a nice couch that is also used for relaxing, reading, watching TV and sleeping. A roll-top desk is also available near the base of the stairwell.
The use of the owners large outside porch that has a koi pond and unobstructed views of Maui can also be arranged.
The Barbecue is also available, located next to the koi pond, and is nice to use at sunsets.
There is also a Workout Room on the lower deck that is available throughout the day. It is equipped with a TV, VHS player for exercise tapes, weights, a ballet bar and various types of exercise equipment including the Total-Gym Pro Exercise System.
RENT THE WHOLE HOUSE
The full house is available for rent at a 2 week minimum.
The upstairs of the house includes the following...
The kitchen is on the left of the main entry door. It has a 6 gas top stove and two ovens, a large commercial tepanyaki for stir fry cooking on the wood top island, a large dish washer, a microwave oven, a large double sink, and everything required for preparing great meals for a lot of friends.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the TV room which has a king size punee and a view of the top of Haleakala
The entrance to the elevator or “Dumb Waiter” is located in the garage so groceries and heavy things can easily be taken from the car and placed in the elevator. Note the door knob on the left of the picture. It can be used for disabled individuals as it can be operated from its inside. However, this is not recommended without a waiver.
But it certainly is better than carrying cases of beer and other heavy goodies upstairs.
The King Size bed in the Master bedroom opens to an outer porch with a view to the ocean and Haleakala. There is a large walk in closet adjacent to the bedroom and an office. The bathroom and shower is to the left of the bed.
