This dwelling retreat house is ideally located in the year round resort village of Carlsbad, CA that is just waiting to be explored. It is situated off of Tamarack off the 5 Frwy. It is only about a mile from the coastal beach and shops and freeway entrance.
The house is decorated in a comfortable and casual beach style. It has 5 Bedrooms with Cable TV/DVD in each bedroom. There are 2 living rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are three baths as well as a rinse off shower outside. One of the rooms is open and next to the kitchen. There also is a stairwell chair lift for handicapped/elderly guests. The house also has High Speed Wireless internet as well.
An outdoor barbecue can be enjoyed in the back yard or patio. Or sit and chat around the poolside under the palm trees.
Sandy beaches stretch for several miles with an adjacent “boardwalk” that is great for strolling.
There is a Lagoon real close for boating, jet skis, paddle boats etc. Excellent surfing(longboard and shortboard) can be found across the street at spots known as Offshore, Tamarack and Warm Waters. Numerous other famous surf spots are available along the North San Diego coast. Kayaking and fishing(fresh and saltwater) are also popular beach activities here.
Restaurants, surf shops, and numerous other shops, are all close by. The local area also offers Legoland Amusement Park, shopping malls, biking, sport fishing and golfing. Lego Land (10 mins), Sea World (35 mins), the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Wild Animal Park (35 mins) and numerous other San Diego spots are a short drive or train ride away. Disneyland(60 Mins) and Knotts Berry Farm(60 Mins) are popular destinations to the north.
